I would like to set up a Data Room with limited access and prevent unauthorized onward distribution -only to the nominated recipient. - how to do?

Upload your data to Folderit, add the users and give the other parties Preview-Only permission. This way they will be able to open the document in-system but not to download, print or copy from the document. You can revoke the access at any time and the Audit Trail will show who previewed the file and when exactly!

Hi, Does the OCR functionality add an OCR text layer to the document or is the information stored only in a web database? Thanks

Thanks for your question. We only use it for the search index at the moment.

@@Folderit_com I really like the simplicity of the product despite the advanced feature set, however OCR layer embedded in the document itself is a key requirement for our use case. Please do get in touch if you add this feature in the future.
