With the Federal Government's approval of Genetically Modified Maize (GMO) for commercial production, the nation faces a critical choice between
natural, organic maize, and a variety developed by science.
The promise of GMO maize is undeniable, but so too are the concerns
for health and safety. This documentary explores the pros and cons of
genetically engineered maize, as consumers, farmers, and policymakers navigate the future of food in Nigeria.

Once again the government have BETRAYED the people, this will affect their health and make the nation dependent on foreigners for food. The people responsible for this must be brought to the courts and tried and punished for this treasonous act.

Norway 🇳🇴 have a huge seed 🌱 bank which they have collected all the seeds from all the crops and plants that grow in Africa. They are then giving out GMO seeds back to African farmers which only allows the crops to be planted once and then you have to go back to them for further seeds. What are Africans doing to counteract this insidious practice I wonder?

We heard that our government approved GMO Seeds. Bill Gates who is in charge, personally visited Nigeria to seek d government 's approval, which they gladly gave him & even established a place where it will be manufacturer in d country. It's a shame as some African countries rejected d offer. May God help us oh!
@Flower-ck2bs
@Flower-ck2bs Күн бұрын
Africa must reject this offer. GMO seeds will destroy the balance in the nature, insekts and birds and fish will vanish. Africa will be dependant on import of food. A country without own food production has no future. The wealthy world do not eat GMO. Why should africans be experimental rabbits?

God Almighty has given us seeds to plant why defy Him? This will only lead to severe hunger at the very least. The Bible in Micah 2:1 "Woe to those who devise wickedness and work evil on their beds! When the morning dawns, they perform it, because it is in the power of their hand". 1 John 5:19 "We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one."
