RIP I saw him for the first time at Entebbe Task Force HQ in October 1979 I knew he is one of the Ugandan young soldiers who fought along with Tanzanian Army to oust General Idi Amin.Years later i recognized he was a Rwandan soldier who was enlisted in UPDF.He was real brave and one of the younger Major Generals in the world.Soldiering was in his blood.History will remember him as you can not talk of Uganda / Rwanda liberation wars without mentioning The young 2 star General Fred Gisu Rwegima

Fred Rwigema, that last name rings vividly in my memory. I was still young (Ugandan). He lived in Kilembe Sub County, Kasese District, Western Uganda shortly before his death. At least I recall the echoes of stories about him and I recall his house in a place called Kizungu. RiP lost hero. You played your part as a liberator.
