The Rabari, also called the Rewari or Desai, are an indigenous tribal caste of nomadic cattle and camel herders and shepherds that live throughout northwest India, primarily in the states of Gujarat, Punjab and Rajasthan. Other Rabari groups also live in Pakistan, especially in the region of the Sindh Desert. The word "Rabari" translates as "outsiders", a fair description of their primary occupation and status within Indian society.

True actually sindhis and punjabis are people of india so there is alot similarities, And kutch has been ruled by sindhi tribes jadejas from the start, and many pastorlists tribes of sindh migrated to kutch for their animals herding. Similarly jaisalmer and barmer during talpur reign in sindh almost all of jaisalmer and half of barmer was controlled by sindh, also during other kings the people used come and go with no issue until the border was placed.
