Most Sindhis thought that things will settle down and they wud go back. But that never happened, and nany Sindhis, like my mother died, pining away for Sindh. She used to say 'asanjo vatan rehji vyo' meaning we have lost our motherland . . . One more thing, the 'ani' part in Sindhi names means 'ansh' in Sankrit. I know how much loss Pakistan has faced by exodus of businessman Hindus. The two communities can’t be at peace unless Islamist do away with the idea of non acceptance of non believers and open to the idea that god can be worshipped by any name or method. Religion should be a personal experience and forced conversion must be abolished.and the message all human beings are equal must echo everywhere. Women must be treated with respect and should do whatever they choose to. This is not easy for Islamist. All messages, religious books and places of worship are holy. Everyone should be allowed to question and think scientifically.

There is a misunderstanding about Sindhi in India because Sindhi is not a caste. It's an ethnicity, so there are thousands of tribes in Sindhis, and all Sindhis are not in the business. In fact, Muslim Sindhis are 80% of agriculture the Sindhis living in India belong to the business community but only 35% of Sindhis belong to the business community, not others For example, in India, there are some communities good in business that doesn't means that all Indians are businessmen same as Sindhis. There are many types of castes and tribes in Sindhis each tribe has its own history and the majority of Sindhis are in agriculture, not business
