DOCWOB - Husqvarna CR500 Re-build part 2 - How to fit steering bearings like Wob!

It's head down, arse up here at DocWob HQ and we haven’t even reached the MX season starting yet!
In this week's episode we have an update on the CR500 husky builds and we’ve hit a snag!, but she will be real pretty once she’s done.
We have another ‘How 2’ by popular request. This time we are looking at 'How to' change steering bearings, before all the keyboard warriors start, this is the way we do it and its served us well for over 35 years, I am sure you have your own ways of doing it and feel free to knock yourself out. We have some fancy new tools for the job from Motion Pro and credit where credit is due I am pretty impressed with them, they alleviate a fair bit of swearing, hammering and frustration in getting the job done.
Finally, we take a quick look at the 2018 KTM EXCF, this one is for me, I want her to be trick and I am calling in a fair few favours.
In the next episode we have a 'How 2' on linkage bearings and a special project on the guy for the legend Kurt Nicoll.

I'm just about to change out my Ktm head bearing, perfect timing for the lesson. I will definitely be buying the motion Pro tool before I start. Doc love the video as usual. The old Husky really was ahead of its time. I agree with you that there is only so much time one can work on them before you reach DEFCON 1 and tools start flying. It is definitely worth the effort though as they are an endangered species. I do have a question for you. I’ve got 2 Suzuki RB50 (GAG) bikes. One I was able to salvage the fuel tank and the other I have no hope of saving. Do you think the company that did the Husky tank would make a tank for me? Much respect from a kindred spirit in the USA 🇺🇸
