DOCWOB - The Alloy framed 2-stroke is one step closer! Suzuki RM250AF

In this episode, we have an update on the alloy frame 2006 Suzuki RMZ 250 AF. You all know I love a Suzuki, and this one is pretty special and full factory! Lots of new parts, including Hinson clutch, new rod, new cylinders, etc.
Find out which part was a b!tch to fit, which part is from an old Tedesco machine, and if we can pull it off an awesome front end, and a James Bubba Stewart story.
I also reveal why we soft-fit everything, including the plastics. Not everything turns out how you think it will, and these builds are truly a labour of love.
With less than four weeks to go until VMXdN Foxhill and seven to Farleigh Castle Vets MX, it’s all hands-on deck finishing the VMXdN bike builds for Mike Brown, Andrew Short, Sean Lipanovich, Alessio Chiodi, Ryan Villopoto, Tommy Searle, and Leon Capps. There will also be a bike for Damon Bradshaw to ride in the parade lap and a black Chesterfield for a customer to ride. There were only meant to be four builds, but now there are ten; it happens every year!

When i built my kx300af i had a gap between the carb and boot and ended up using stainless steel tube to fill the gap and it actually mad a big improvement to the bottom end power all the way true

How well does the AF handle the vibration of the 2 stroke engine? I would think the welds on the AF could come apart?

To mount the coil in the standard location I had to move the center to center distance of the 2 stroke coil and use spacers to get clearance....but it sure looks good in that location. I mounted the CDI box to the right of the carb under the frame cross member...also looks sano
