Saturday the 9th March, running the Doddington Hall parkrun.
217th parkrun and 2nd at Doddington Hall.
A much nicer day for running and a quicker course.
Started close to the front to try and avoid getting held up, but still got caught in a bit of traffic.
Bit of a head wind on the way out down to the corner onto the trail, so hoped it would be a help on the return trip. Legs were still feeling good at the switch back, did find I got a little held up when I was unable to overtake on the narrow track, running against the oncoming runners and maybe took a bit too much out of the legs easing back into the pace.
After hoping I'd have the wind behind me to the finish, sadly that wasn't to be the case and had a headwind on the gradual climb back, that seemed to last forever.
