This video was a HUGE help. I'm going to remove and replace the heater core and the evaporator on my '92 B250 very soon, and I had no idea where all the attaching hardware was located. Now I do! THANK YOU for posting this. MUCH appreciated!

This is such a great straight forward instruction. My 81 Dodge 250 Royal is going to undergo the wrenches very soon because that heater core is leaking and needs replace. Don't think there's any freon in the thing though - haven't felt air conditioning since we bought it. Thanks for taking the time to make this vid!

I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 van and the process looks very very similar. Thank you very much for posting the video. This is a great help and review before attacking the core replacement on my own vehicle.

The lesson I just learned here in MN is don't trust an anti-freeze tester that isn't made in the USA. Got down to zero and wrecked the heater core. Read that it was good to -30.

I am starting to dig in to a 89 Chevy van to replace heater core...I'm old..it's old...trying a shortcut...just used Drexel cutting wheel to slice dash on pass. side along the " seam" ....hope to gain access from cab without dropping steering and doing heluvalotta disconnects...I'll know later this week 🤞

I'm trying to remove the two rear heaters and bypass them on a 1989 B-350 van. That's 4 coolant hoses I have to track down.. Also considering removing all the air conditioning junk just to free up some space in there. I don't think it even works.

What year is your van ? Tha ks for the video. There is a few places I would not have thought to look for screws. A little all ways helps. Thanks.

My heater isn't working and I have Ac in the front of the van but not in the back. I need someone like you to fix it. I'm in north Carolina. How far are you?

I got all of the screws out as your video shows. The evaporator box is loose but there is no way I can get it to lift out. There isn't enough room between the top of the engine compartment and the front sheet metal holding the head light assy. How did you do it?

You need to remove the two screws that hold the heater core box to the blower housing below it. Then the heater core box lifts right out. I just did mine today. Easy peasy!

Sorry, not at work to look up that vehicle procedure...a 95 may be slightly different. I've done several of these 89-90 this way. If you want me to let you know tomorrow, I'll try thanks....

@@bobsimkin7407 Guys....There seems to be some confusion . I was working on a 89-90 model. The box pulls straight out , as I described when following my detail. The later models may be slightly, or completely different. Just trying to help. Thanks good luck
