My dad co-signed with me on a used 1972 Challenger when I was 17, , light blue with white bucket seats, 318 engine, not fast but a really pretty car, fast forward 50 years later and ordered a 2022 Challenger ScatPack, WideBody, Shaker Hood, 6.4 Liter Engine in the Smoke Show Color, it put’s a smile on my face every time I crank it up, grange kept and only driven on sunny days.

at least they got rid of the ram hood emblem and that original goofy dodge grill they were going to put in and put dual exhaust on the 11's and up 6's, now its the best looking retro on the road and you can not tell the 6 from the 8's other than the badging if you get the SST package on the 6's....

i was a camero guy, owned 2 and 1 firebird they were cool back in the 70's early 80 but now the windows are soooo tiny and gives ya the bathtub effect when sitting inside. The challenger is functional and fun to drive my 6 get 30mpg on the highway, i owned v8's in the cameros and firebird but i would bet my 6 challenger with the sst package would beat them off the line its that quick.

Im pretty sure your 2012 SRT will do 180. I used a Diablosport Tuner to take off the governor on my 2009 RT. It did every bit of 165 on I-12. If my 345 can do 165 I know that 392 can hit 180...just need running room! :)

Also, the Challenger was designed off of the old E Platform and redesigned to the LC Platform, by Daimler Chrysler of Germany and furthermore the HEMI are made in Mexico. I have 3 of the Dodge Challenger SRT-8 and a Dodge Challenger SRT-10, so it seems that you know very little about this subject. Yes, I think it’s a very nice car and thank you for trying to defend it, but get your facts correct B-4 you talk!
