i have a 2016 392 Dodge Challenger and got a "service shifter" msg and the check engine light came on. I'm not a mechanic, but is this a fix i can do myself?

@@alanawilliams1816im literally going through this right now. We thought it was the neutral safety switch. But this video has the actual symptoms. Too bad it’s Sunday & the car parts place closed & i got work tomorrow ): now miss a days pay. But luckily i landed on the video. Pray 🙏🏽 this works.

any luck with your Jeep? ..I have a Jeep grand Cherokee and it just happened to me today after I changed my break pads /rotor and caliper ..no idea how to fix this issue

@@adventureswithkyle no luck with mine. I was hoping by replacing the fuse it would be the solution but when I put a new fuse in there it blows it. There’s a short circuit somewhere and I took it to the dealer. Transmission control valve body is the part they said it needs replaced but there is a national parts shortage and I’ve been waiting over 3 weeks. I’ve called multiple Jeep dealers around the country with no luck.

@@danielobika1108 after they installed the TCM the dealership said I need a new transmission. It was not going into Reverse, hard downshift and sometimes would throw you out of Drive to neutral while driving. The dealer wanted 8000 just for the rebuild transmission. I took it to 954Transmissions and had it re-build for 3500 with change of the cooler and lines. Runs good now and no issues so far.

I think it's a Relay fuse. Might have shorted out.

How do you turn off everything? My dodge Durango 2016 won’t turn off. I don’t want the battery to drain. My mechanic won’t show up to my house till the weekend. Is there a way to turn off the ignition?
