Trooper's Report:
On January 10th 2024 I observed a black Dodge Charger traveling west on Interstate 40 at a radar confirmed speed of 95 mph
in a 75 mph zone. The Charger took the Baker Wills exit then turned onto Highway 365 North before I caught up to it. As I
caught up to the car displaying Arkansas dealer tag EX60136, it turned right onto Lawrence Landing Road. I activated my
emergency blue lights and the car continued over the overpass with no sign of stopping. I activated my siren, the car veered to
the right as if it were pulling over on Moore Lane, then turned back to the left as if he were attempting to turn around. The car
then turned back to the right and continued east on Lawrence Landing Road. The car then turned left onto Wade Drive and
spun tires while reversing quickly onto Lawrence Landing facing west head on with me. The engine reeved and the car came at
me head on in an attempt to flee west back to Highway 365. I moved my unit to block the car causing the front of my unit to
strike the front of the car. The car then backed up and came at me a second time. In attempt to stop the vehicle I pulled forward
causing the front of the car to strike the front of my unit. At that point, I accelerated forward, pushing the car backwards into a
muddy ditch where it became stuck. I exited my unit and performed a felony take down. While I was giving multiple commands
to show me there hands, the driver continued to attempt to get the car out of the ditch by spinning the tires forward and in
reverse while reaching around in the car as if he were moving or hiding something. After multiple commands, the driver exited
the vehicle and was commanded away from the vehicle and taken into custody. The female passenger complied and was
detained with no incident.
A search of the vehicle resulted in the finding of a Taurus .45 also confirmed stolen out of Cabot PD, approximately 8oz of
suspected Marijuana, 8oz of Promethazine, digital scales, plastic baggies, multiple different key fobs to multiple makes of
vehicles, and a device to re-programing vehicles. The driver, identified as Kyron Jones was transported to Faulkner
County Detention Center Unit 2 where he was booked accordingly. The passenger was
released from the scene. Smith Wrecker Service towed the car to their impound lot to be held for the registered owner.

I need to show this video to Kansas City Kansas police that had my stolen charger ( identical to this one) that was jacked from me AT GUNPOINT by two armed thugs blocked in a dead end street, not with one but with 4 police vehicles within less than an hour after it was taken. And they left an opening big enough for the thieves to drive thru so they did. THEN they lit it up and gave chase, but my car was GONE, left them in the dust. Chase lasted 2 miles before he was out of sight and they gave up. My son and his wife were there and got it on video. Now 2 weeks later it’s been chased (thanks to vehicle tracking) by at least 5 or 6 different agencies and departments in the greater metro, but EVERYTIME it escapes. I’ll never get it back. I asked the responding officers why they didn’t use all 4 vehicles to make an airtight blockade and they said it’s KCPD POLICY that they HAVE to leave the carjackers “an out”. Makes NO SENSE why law enforcement would give violent armed criminals an out when they have them pinned in a dead end street with one way in and one way out. So they can continue their crime spree and quite possibly their next victim isn’t as lucky as I was. I didn’t get shot. The next one might. Def lost all respect for local law enforcement over this situation.
@PaulMarostica
@PaulMarostica 7 ай бұрын
@@kearls66 I feel bad about what has happened to you. I agree with you that criminals should not be left an "out". I have heard of this policy before. It seems some authorities think not leaving an out tends to lead to an escalation of danger, resulting in violence by police too extreme for the original crime. I disagree. I think not leaving an out forces a criminal to decide how far they will go, and if they decide to escalate beyond their original crimes, and go too far, then they are at least temporarily contained, with the police right there and ready to deal violently with them if necessary, before they cause even more trouble to police or other innocent people. I can also understand, though, that in some circumstances, leaving an out might be a preferable option, but in chasing speeding, fleeing, armed carjackers, as you describe, it seems to me, that should not be 1 of those circumstances. In those circumstances I think the criminals have already gone too far, and violent measures of stopping them are warranted if necessary. Also, you mentioned, after they gave the criminals an out, there were further pursuits, each of which escalated the criminals' crimes, and each of which were dangerous for police and other innocent people. So the criminals escalated anyway, proving the policy of leaving an out did not work. Good luck getting your vehicle back.

@@kearls66 Your attitude is the same as someone who would yell and scream at a store clerk who won't let you return an item due to store policy. Don't mistake the rank and file officers for the people who determine policy for their departments. They are not the same. The people who create these policies are elected officials. This is why local elections matter as much as, if not more than state and national elections. If you don't like the policies in your city, don't dump on the officers who are forced to follow them or lose their livelihoods. Carefully research the candidates for the offices of judges, sheriffs, prosecutors and city and county officials and VOTE the people out of office who make these bad policies. It is not within the power of the folks in uniform walking the beat to change it. That's your responsibility.

Coddled momma's boys in all these videos. Literally don't know how to think beyond their reproductive organs. Single mother, on welfare, wants to be their friend, and never had a man around, more than it took to clap them cheeks a few times, to show them how to be one themselves. This is a result of conscious cultural choices (feminism and hood culture). Just like what they are teaching young girls now about their worth and place in society. There will be another social phenomenon after they start hitting the wall at 30-35 and are replaced with younger women who are more attractive than a 35 year old acting 16. Even semi-successful men are now dating abroad for women who want a husband and father for their kids. That leaves a shallow pool for the American stripper girls to choose from later on (after they're done "sowing their oats" or hit the wall). But hey, it feels good right now and anyone who disagrees is a racist and misogynist, right?

Then have the audacity to say he’s trying to talk to them. CHILD PLEASE! 😂 Also, I don’t think the female is innocent either. Homefry kept hollering “baby” so they are familiar with each other.
