Just installed mine today. I didn’t receive the washers. Luckily I had some laying around. It sounds really good. I have a scat pack with mids and resonators delete. No rasp or anything now. Exhaust sounds way deeper. Very good product. You can really hear the difference. I don’t have to roll in sport mode all the time now.

I still have the resonators installed. Mine is loud af and I still have factory catalytic converters and resonators. Only mid muff delete and ae delete.

Did you use a 3mm Allen wrench to tighten it down at the end?

What if I’m just changing the out of the actuator do I need to unplug the battery so it doesn’t move my actuator I believe is going bad and is throwing a code

As long as you don’t put power to it it shouldn’t move.

Bought mine but went to install and as I was moving the acturator into place, the holder for the pin/spring cracked... wasn't even close to being aligned. I have a 2019 challenger and I am beyond livid due to dropping $162 on something that now I have to drop another $250 on a new actuator....

Does the butterfly valve stay locked in place without rattling.

Depends on your valves. On my car, nothing I did would completely stop the rattling on one of the valves. But the other side didn't rattle at all.

You don’t need them on 2019s and above. Take out the connecting spring and it don’t toss codes anymore. 2018s and lower do

NOT true. Mine lit CEL on second start - 2019 RT 5.7. Khaos ordered and installed - no CEL.

@@articfever3616 - Seems rather odd, and obvious, they didn't connect the AES to the canbus on the scats. 5.7 owners beware. The other issue is that without the spring installed, or something like this Khaos mod, the actuator motor will continue to spin. Hopefully that doesn't cause an issue down the road. Without AES is surely mo-betta. :)

Probably not. I would remove them for the test.

The great thing about our simulator is that it will not cause any cel issues and no tune is required!

Or, like ME, don't Pay anyone Sh*t and do it yourself for FREE. Take actuator off via 3 nuts. Remove the pre-mounted spring that is attached to the actuator. Zip tie the active exhaust valve Open (I Tac Welded mine Open). Reinstall the actuator via 3 nuts. Job Finished for the extremely high price of FREEEEE! Class Dismissed...

​@nicholasbryan2848 YES. PULL ACTIVE EXHAUST ACTUATOR by removing the 3 screws REMOVE THE SPRING. REINSTALL ACTUATOR USING THE 3 SCREWS. ACTIVE EXHAUST IS ALREADY IN THE OPEN POSITION PRIOR TO STARTING THE ENGINE. THEREFORE I PULLED THE SPRINGS AND SPOT WELDED ACTIVE EXHAUST OPEN, AND REINSTALLED THE ACTUATOR MINUS THE SPRING. YOU will still hear the ACTUATOR engage, but all it does is rotate the ACTUATOR closed and immediately opens up but keep in mind all it is doing is going through the motions/ or the "normal" starting process. You ABSOLUTELY will NOT get the dreaded CEL. Code. I have had ZERO ISSUES WITH MY CAR SETIP THIS WAY. I also am running E88 or E15 not E85 but Thorntons Fuel E88/E15 higher octane, cleaner hotter burn. More bhp and torque. Without any extra tune and ZERO problems. No codes thrown
