Dodge Charger Front Grill and Sequential Lighting Turn Signal Install

Recently we've installed NOIR Paint Protection Film on this Dodge Charger including other wrap services. Customer wanted to add some additional upgrades to change the look even more. This time it was for a parts install of the front grill the entails sequential lighting.

Do the snorkels turn on when the lights are set to auto? Mine only turn on when I manually set the car to drl mode.

I have the strips on my challenger, but its only 3 wires red black and yellow for the sequential turn. If i connect they yellow it turns even with turn signal off any suggestions

wiring does vary upon the year of the vehicle as well, I would dummy wire the LEDs into the plug to find out which wire activates the sequential lights.

Does this model of led grill have the holes or grooves to clip the bumper in? I replaced mine with a cheaper brand and it doesn't have the 4 or 5 clips in the middle of the led grill that needed to secure the bumper to the led grill along with the bolts and screws.

yes, the grill provided from the customer included clips to lock in the OE bumper.

Those the mopar front grill from a 2019 fit on a 2018 or do I have to order from a 3rd party seller?

As long as you have the SRT style front bumper on your 2018, this grille is a direct swap out from the other with no snorkels. I can't remember which year they switched them, but all RTs come with SRT front bumper with no snorkel grille. 2018 was a bit ago and back then, only the RT PLUS package had the SRT bumper+hoodscoop. As long as your front end looks like an SRT, the grille will swap right out.

we are in California, as for the wiring do a quick research to find which ones to tap into. The wire color and orientation alter depending on the year.

Hey quick question so I’m trying to do this on my 2019 Daytona dodge charger rt and I called up a place and they said since I had sensors on the front bumper for like my adaptive cruise control and so on they would have to recalibrate it and I’m wondering if that’s true because he said it would be an $800 cost just to re-calibrate and I’m wondering why they would be because even if you need to replace your head light and you take the bumper off you would have to re calibrate it is this true or not can someone please comment back to this

@@isaaczanabria492bro can you help me i also have a 2021 Charger Rt and installed my vicrez sequential light in yesterday but the white LED won’t come up at all no matter what they only work when I use the turn signals I think I messed something up in the wiring process

@@isaaczanabria492I spliced the green and yellow wire to the light green/white cable on drives side harness. Then I spliced the red wire to the black/white cable in harness and Grounded the black wire to the bolt around the wheel well.

Good video , not great. Your camera is moving extremely fast so it’s a little hard to keep up with what your explaining but non the less thank God for the pause / rewind buttons 😅. Keep grinding 👍🏼
