An old video but some tips: Red is power Black is ground Yellow is blinker Green is headlight When you get these in the mail, take some clear silicone and run a bead of it around the gap where the clearer plastic meets the black plastic and let it sit for a day or you'll be buying a new set after you take your car through the car wash for the first time after you install these.

So I just did it to my durango and it came out sick. I did black to ground , the red wire ran to my drl which is red with yellow and the yellow line to my white and tan turn signal. The green wire just cut it off no need for the green wire at all

If you only want them to function w/DRLs then its red to White/Blue... Black to ground...Yellow to turn signal. If you choose this way grill lights will only function with DRLs on. I choose to have my grill lights come on with my side markers and ran red wire from grill light harness to LH/RH side markers. Yellow to get them to blink to the (PS) White/Tan (DS) White/Light Green. Now grill lights come on only when headlights or front side markers are on. You may need extra wiring for red wire to reach side markers proper.

So all your using is 3 wires cut the green off. Black goes to the ground which is black. The red goes to your day running lights most likely red with yellow and the yellow wire goes to your turn signal wire

The reason you don't have the sequential look is cause they made two different kinds. I just found that out after installing mines. Mines didn't go in circular motion so called the company and they told me there where two different kinds made. I'm mad bout it but it is what it is.

Hey man I just installed mine. I tapped the red wire into the side markers, black to ground, and yellow to the smaller white and tan wire on the headlight harness. Everything works but they are not sequential when using my blinkers.

I believe the the red wire is supposed to be connected to a switched power source, and the green to the DRL.

for the second option to plug into the side marker.. do you need the black ground also or just the yellow and red? I didn't understand what you meant by "Black is the ground" does that mean use it on one of the black ground wires?

You need the black ground wires to be grounded to metal.

@@larrypope3701 I didn't use the green. Using the green makes the light dimmer. I only lose signal lights to DRLs, however, at night everything works. I just tapped into the red wire and connected it to the side-markers.

@larry pope follow all the instructions he left 2 months ago. Only thing i did different is used an extra wire to tap into the red wire that was connected to the white and blue. My settings for my lights are always on auto. Find the white and tan(seem to be more than 1) on the pass/side and yellow goes to that...black(ground) to any black, red to white and blue, don't use green, and that same red wire that's tied into the white and blue, tap into that with an extra wire and run that to the side markers. That's the passenger side. DRLs only don't provide enough power so using the side markers are for for power.

Passenger side, ran red to white/blue, black to black and yellow to white/tan. I can't get any power at all. Unplugged everything and tried just running power and ground and they light up. But don't work off headlight harness? Any help?

I ran my red wire to the sidemarker so they came on automatically when it gets dark. If you ran to W/B will only come on in certain modes. Connect to your battery to make sure they function before you install.

I'm in need of assistance... I wired my snorkel lights as follows... Snorkel harness... This is to make them work like the DRL RING They will dim to match when headlights are on. Red wire=power when key is on. Black wire=ground Yellow wire=blinker Green wire=Headlight There are other ways to wire as well for same result...I am sure...I am NOT a professional. I didn’t want to just leave a wire not used so I had to figure it out for myself.

Try unplugging green wire see if it brightens up?...the green wire is optional and when voltage is applied to it it dims...mine burned out a little on one side the day after I installed them, ikon sent me another pair and I haven’t gotten around to putting the new ones in yet.
