can you post a link to purchase the new ignition with matching or (pre-programmed) key? the old key doesnt work with a new ignition. i was told reprogramming must be done at a dealership...kind of hard to do if i cant start the car to get it to a dealership! i do NOT have a fob either.

I have a chip key. Do i have to buy a chip key or just buy a switch that lets me rekey it to the old key? my charger is not starting everytime i turn the key.

Am having trouble with my magnum starting. Though it was the starter but replace it and still the same. The key turns lights come on and radio works. But I don’t think the key is turning all the way over. It doesn’t make a starting sound or any sound. Do you think changing the ignition switch is the problem?

You need to change the starter relay it's a cheap $22 fix at AutoZone. Had the same issue just replace the starter relay

I am changing the key ignition bc I don't have the keys, so how am I supposed to get it out without the key if you need the key to turn inorder to get the ignition out?

i did this to replace the actuator pin, took the magnum for a drive then the key got stuck in the ignition switch so i disassembled the ignition switch to release the key put everything back together and now my car wont start, i checked the wires to make sure i plugged everything as it should be but it just wont crank. i get lights, and stereo , what could be the issue ? is it possible its the anti theft system ?

@@karimwhite8689 yes, it was a little piece of plastic that broke inside the ignition switch which turns on a sensor so start the car. idk how else to explain it but it was a real easy fix.
