Dodge Daytona Shelby Z just arrived. Too nice to part? ITS GETTING SAVED!!!!!

Just bought an 88 Daytona Z 5spd TTop up on the OH MICH border last week. Runs and drives but I haven't put it up on the hoist to see the bottom side. He told me it had rust...what a surprise! I bought it to put the engine/trans in my 84 Rampage. But if it isn't too bad underneath, I might save it. Suspension is shot and flaking paint just typical for age..Good boost and interior is great. You must live near Columbus from what you have mentioned. Im near Cincy so I can see we will be able to make some deals. I have an 83 Scamp that needs a home...love your videos! Keep it up!

I'm about part way between Columbus and Cleveland. Always looking for parts cars. This one is going to be saved and will be going to a good home if it's as clean as it first appeared. I have not had time to touch it since this video was done. We currently have 5 cars here right now to part

No. I've only had one set and it had some ugly wheels that are now scrap

Too nice! I did notice strut nuts missing on drivers strut tower.. wonder is hard enough bump strut could pop out? Probably not.. Love your videos! If u get any info of ones to nab near texas i could save shoot info myway.. i have 5 in backyard now lol

I noticed some nuts laying on the fender. I bet that's where they go. I really didn't look that close. Thanks for pointing them out!! As of right now it will sit where it's at. I have to finish the Shelby Charger and 85 turbo Daytona this week. Then we will see what is next.

There's 2 different non turbo cars in Texas ATM. Around 1700 bucks.

@@eightbll1017 if not rusty, and they probably aren't in Texas, then probably not a bad buy. We have rust issues up here so finding a clean one is difficult

It's too bad it's not a 5spd but it's definitely to nice to part if it's solid underneath. I believe 89' was the first year for the airbag so I doubt it's the original steering wheel.

Mid year 88 was when the air bag came in. It can easily be made a 5 speed or srt swap if someone wanted to do the work.
