My 2015 Journey is leaking down from the front seat lights, and the windshield does not seem to have trim on top. Should I visibly see trim when looking at the top side of the windshield?

don't see a molding on the top part of the windshield and water is running in from somewhere and filling the back compartments that are on the floor and on the Dodge Journey 2014. I also have battery draining and not sure from where, I disconnected it main ground checked fuse to ground with a volt meter in series and found no drainage. The dodge dealership did exactly the same thing for a few hours and couldn't find the issue. The car runs perfect all components are very good and still dodge dealership couldn't find anything. This problem has existed on many dodge vechiles since 2009 and there have been no recalls. Both water leaks and battery constantly draining is a major issue and dodge pretends they don't know. It will be the last time I ever buy a dodge product.

hello sir I have a question I just had my windshield replaced today 2015 Dodge journey..the installer did not remove the wiper blades or basically nothing you did on your videos when I drove it it's making a wind noise coming from the windshield and there's a 1/2 inch gap from the top of the windshield to the frame..do you have to remove the blades to do it right???I feel like I got ripped off plinkington glass

Whatever company cut corners and they stuffed your windshield and it never makes a good seal with the urethane

I had my windshield replaced a week ago the glass guy didn't put back the rubber seals they way they should and the top there is no seal between windshield and car. Is it suppose to not have rubber seal on top?

Hi some model has top rubber moldings some no. But i noticed in a different jobs. But same cars some has t some no . Here a example the new 2019 tiguan no. Top rubber molding. But the old one does have t. But if you install top rubber in the new one. Makes wind noice. So always watch your cars and parts before a tech works and if you see different parts ask them about

well i m sorry to said this but if the glass man didn t take the cow plastic and you have wind noise its a bad installation 1/2 inch mean glass its to low i don t now .what brand of glue they used but the popular glue used by glass man are SIKA DOW. DINOL NOW sikatak its expensive..especial if is one dry hour ..DINOL or express from DOW ..but 418 from DOW ITS PRIMELESS means you dont have to use primer on glass but the problem is when the tech doesn t use product like betabread f1 its and agent to clean all the contamination on the glass still you have to primer on glass ..so you have to do is call the company did the service and have warranty ,,but this time you must tell this people remove cow wiper arms use primer on glass and pithweld and the glue must be express from dow its 1/2 hour wait before drive and one hour ready to go...or 428.from dow but that 8 hours glue will dry .so you must wait 8 hours before start driving on highway ..and remember price mean everything cheap mean sometimes lot problems ..but i admit expensive sometimes can mean the same good luck..

VIDRIOKAR so I just measured it and it is exactly 1/2 in gap from top of windshield to frame around it..do you think I got the wrong size it's plinkington..do you know the numbers on the Dodge journey 2015 crossroad?for the window I wish I can send you pictures or talk to you you do very good work and know alot thank you alot!!

all windshield have specification on manufactures so its not the glass its the install cause most the glass man use pgw pilkinton xy and funyao so glasses caming in right sises its the install cause i sow this kind of problems before and glass sliding down cause the didnt not set wth v glue they use a roll cause they keep material and its easy to insert the glass in to the cow when the glue its that low..but the cost is this glass go down ..now did you drive after install cause that make the problem go worst ..makin the problem you have now.

I let it sit for6 1/2 hours before I drove... the sales rep lady said that sometimes it can take up to 48 hours to it settle completely she said I could drive in a hour after I'm worried it's going to leak on my touch screen speakers and dash when it rains
