Dodge journey 3.5 EGR Valve removal and could be reason for no start

a much easier way and less messy is remove the 2 vacuum line just behind the throttle body, then the egr and tube lift straight out without removing any coolant lines. A 15 minute job

Thanks for the video, it helps out to know what you are getting in to before you start. Had a P0404 changed the EGR valve out and cleared the code. It hasn't come back. 👍🏻

I put in the new Dorman EGR valve in January, by August it was already bad. My mechanic told me they are less reliable than Mopar parts, so I will need to try the Mopar part now.

You may also want to consider that you may have plugged up catalytic converter‘s or your emission system is not working properly I’m just saying it could be just defective parts of course as well like you’re saying

More then likely its the Range sensor and shift linkage cable
