We don’t know why we don’t have more, we post the exact same videos on other platforms and they blow up, post them on this platform and they go no where We have been told other KZbinrs pay to promote their stuff (of the same type of channels) which pushes ours out and we don’t pay to promote ours anywhere

@@matt.mckinzie Maybe a collaboration with another large recovery channel would help. I follow a lot of these types of channels and they do seem to occasionally promote each other. In fact, that's how I've found a lot of these channels. Good luck.

Agreed! I like these as much or more than say Matt's, Rory, Fab Rats. I live in Fl as well so its more my kind of recovery terrain. Mud, sand, water. BTW i learn more every time i watch your videos. Maybe go hang out with Matt's crew for a couple of days, get some exposure with him. They seem cool!

@@countrylifetales2700 That's true. You have to sell your soul to the KZbin gods if you want the algorithm to pick you up. The collaboration also works if you can do like some of the Utah KZbinrs do. I can't even stand to watch the Utah bunch anymore; they are all about cutting the fool instead of doing the work nowadays.

How’d I KNOW he’d burned out a “BADLAND” winch??🤣🤣🤣… those are great winches to fill up a winch cradle and use for looks!!! There is a reason they cost 25% of a Warn!!!. Wonder why recovery companies and tow trucks never have thought to use the Badland brand???!!🤔🤔🤔🤣🤣

He did on the way out but the ditches are near as bad in the other areas just wet and slippery He literally went in the worst ditch of the entire hunt club No one goes down there because of its condition That’s why they named it “bad road” 🤣 Yes that’s it’s literal name of that road

Just shows how crazy dodge owners are . 1. Going 4 wheeling with a motor in the bed. 2. Think another dodge owner could get you out. 3. Not knowing your winch's capacity. 4. Leaving the trail and driving into an unknown body of water. What an embarrassing moment

Big truck, if the front wheels would have been turned the opposite on the first pull it would have been 3/4 out and could have just pulled him frontwards after that. I know I know, keyboard warriors but truff is truff. 😂

Currently no one makes a rear winch option That have to be fabricated Unlike the front where 90 percent of off-road winches come winch acceptable

@@matt.mckinzie I have a tilt bed trailer that carries my 28 high boy Model A and tractor and friends ATV's. My winch is mounted on a frame from HF and fits into the rear of my truck receiver and also on the front of the trailer to load things that do not run. So I have a rear winch.

Trail is impassable 100 feet up Was trying to back out Slipped in Rocked back a fourth a few times and slipped way in Now framed out on the rear The ditches on both side are a literal start up wall not a ramp Trail is super slick combined with very narrow trail And water moccasins everywhere Made things interesting

@“Florida” Off Road Recovery I never take my 4x4 dually off road let alone the pavement. Diesel trucks will get stuck in their own shadow.

I agree to that, but this hunt club is huge you can drive 20 miles of trails and never get mud on the truck, except this one road. Most of the members know not to go down here. It was this guys first trip (new member) was driving around setting up stands and feeders.

I know it's all in playful banter, but teasing the other winch failed because it was a Badland is silly. maybe if it was the old school originals they sold years ago... But the Newer Apex winch (which is their best selling one) has actually proven itself countless times both privately as well as commercially to be a very reliable & powerful winch. (especially when you realize it's actually made by the same "big name" and just rebranded for HF. The #1 biggest failure of electric winches is running them too long & overheating them #2 is poor electrical connections & poor power supply... whether it's too long a cable & amperage loss, or a weak battery/ alternator supplying it/ weak ground.... #3 is inexperienced users not rigging properly or understanding all the physics/added resistance. Any tool will fail when it's used wrong or abused... with a skilled/knowledgeable operator... even a Badland Apex is a very reliable & powerful winch... There's hundreds of videos by average people using them & they do every bit as well as the other big names... it's all about the right equipment, installed right, with the right knowledge
