For anyone that still doesn't know. It's a hint to what the torque reserve system was. 3.9lbs of boost plus 221lb-ft tq to get it up to 405lb-ft of torque at launch without using the transbrake.

Dodge is bring out all the stops! Love this new "torque reserve system"! Far better than having to use injector system return pills for control. This is going to bring a whole new level of drag tuning. Just give it time and aftermarket companies are going to be scrambling to make their own, like perhaps AEM will get on board with this and make a stand alone torque reserve system that can be installed into any car and tuned as needed, actually I really hope they do, I want one!

The Race hardened video..just showed driveshaft and rear axles. It comes with Nitto drag radials stock...so with that the steeper gears, high stall converter and launch control should be capable of mid 2sec 0-60 times on a good track. SRT got 2.9 0-60mph and 10.7@127mph with a regular Hellcat charger with drag radials. Should be low 10s maybe even high 9s @around 130

Well they really are competing against each other. Definitely a difference in price. Challenger models: none SRT models - 95% street/5% strip SRT 392 models - 75% street/25% strip Hellcat is more 50% street/50% strip while the Demon will be 10% street/90% strip.

(Body Video ): License plate had...(#2576@35)....Some think it's the size of the Supercharger 2,576cc as the regular hellcat runs a 2,360cc supercharger. Car & driver though it was the torque at the tires when they thought it was AWD. (Third law video): had.... (13.5 = 575 @ 500) on the track....most people think 13.5 was the PSI of boost. 575@500.....was the black keys power rating. Hellcat black key limits 500hp and 4000rpms. 575@500 could be the hp/tq rating with the black key. (Wallpaper/Pictures): The vin plate said (757) and (01121) Tire pic showed (815) instead of 315 for the tire size.....Might be the crank HP rating. ( www.dodge.com/assets/images/sed/magazine/mag1/wall-full-video6.jpg ) (Performance page video): (757) came up again as the time.....Most think it's the RWHP rating. (793) was the number for the mileage braking said (220) ft from (128) mi,...... IMPOSSIBLE as high end sports cars (911 turbo, Vipers) take 290+/-ft to stop from 100mph. Also the one page said (15)*f coolant temperature when the oil/trans temps were 115*f and I/C temp was 132*f This (Pills video): (3.9+ 221=405) (3.9)..... is not the 0-60 as in the performance page showed 3.0s 0-60mph, it could be 330ft times as a 9.90 car runs a 330ft time like that. (221)..... could be the final weight reduction. Another KZbinr said it was kmh..which makes scenes as 221kmh = 137mph which is a trap speed for a car running 9.90s. -------UPDATE------ NEW (LOCK & LOADED) video Clues 757 and 815 showed up again License Plate said (8.3 + 317=534) Still no clue for (405)......some think it's the displacement which equals 6.6L. A 3.9L supercahrger would be massive compared to the stock 2.4L in the hellcats. 221 is either the weight lost or trap speed in kmh which is 137mph. No one has a good guess for 405..other than possible engine displacement. The rear gears are going form 2.62 to 3.09s.

True, the steeper gears would make 4th gear feel like 3rd in a hellcat. Most people launch a hellcat in 2nd with street tires to get traction..can't imagine how violent the demon is in 1st with the launch control engaged and the rpms around 3 grand. Another way of thinking about it is that the Demons first gear is steeper than the 911 turbo S 1st and the demon has about 200 more lb-ft of torque.

I had a theory last thursday, didn't share it because it was a bit too looney at the time. In last video they did hint towards the 20 something pounds of boost with the boost gauge going up to it, all of the data that was shown on the 1/4 mile page was red, so that was not the best times of the car, so you would have a car that runs low 10s or high 9s from factory, and this may be the biggest of all, 757 may be the restricted hp figure and the real figure would be in 900's.

Chevy knows that they can't compete with Dodge and Ford in the pony car wars on the drag strip. They instead have decided to focus more on track performance (or a balance between drag/track). It was very disappointing for me when Chevy released the LT-4 with less HP compared to the last GT500 and Hellcat. That just tells me that they aren't confident in their engines reliability/meeting emissions. Since they engine doesn't have enough power, they decided to fit the ZL-1 with a fancy 10spd and lighten the car to make up the difference..as drag racing is about lbs/HP and traction. Hopefully the Zr-1 will be the corvette that the Z06 should have been.(better balance/handling,reliable).
