Here is my favotite scene from the awesome movie Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story. Watch how Gordon, for a short while, turns into a God.

Gordon in a way was the unsung hero of the film. He recommended dodgeball when they were about to tear down the gym, won this match on his own to earn them a spot in the championship, and reminded the chancellor of the by law that got them the two thirds vote.

I feel this movie still holds up today. It didn't rely on current events for jokes and instead based it on characters. I just want to hear Cotton refer to this scene as the "Gordon Pibb 5-on-1 episode of 2004".

Patches died in the movie anyway. Yeah I could see that happening. Maybe have it as a next generation thing(Gordon’s kids, Justins’(it looked like Amber was pregnant at the end), Owen and Fran’s, plus any kids Peter and Kate would have produced).

I remember there was this girl who made my life every day in middle school a living hell. She and her minions would follow me in the hallways taunting me, tripping me, and knocking my books out of my arms and I was meek and couldn’t defend myself because the school had a zero tolerance policy on fighting and the principal didn’t give a shit about bullying. One day in gym class we were playing dodgeball and the mega bitch was on the opposing team huddled in a corner giggling with a friend. I saw red and summoned all the rage I had into the rubber dodgeball I was grasping and chucked it at her head. I never experienced such a cathartic moment as I watched the ball knock her head back and she fell on her ass. I grabbed another dodge ball and pummeled her again as she walked off the floor. She didn’t leave me alone after that but she and her minions flunked 8th grade and I moved on to high school with the peace of mind that they wouldn’t be lurking over me.
