Dodgeball Tips and Tricks - Rec Room (mostly for teleport)

List of triples you can do that I can think of: Triple overhead (great for tp) Triple underhand (great for walkers) Double and then single and vice versa (good if you’re learning, but bad if they can catch doubles and singles well) Throw one up and throwing a double (distracts most people) Bonus: Throwing a triple overhand and hitting your dresser and breaking your right controller in the process

For teleport strafers, I do a little bit of trolling and drop the ball then make it look like I’m throwing

The room you mentioned helped a lot. I was playing dodgeball with my friends and teleported to the front where the other team was at, and caught the ball right when it was thrown at me

I have a couple different methods for doubles; 1. I like throwing a highball and a lowball at the same time, it makes it much harder to catch when using your entire wingspan 2. Throwing a cross in the shape of an x, so that they hopefully have to cross their arms if they can't recalculate in time, which will confuse them. 3. Sometimes, I'll throw a double where the balls collide with each other mid throw, which (due to the wacky physics) will reroute both balls to go perfectly straight. Also, concerning the flickering, I do it at the start of the round as well, but I pay attention to who goes forward at the start of the round, and teleport to them for an easy hit.

Notes: If you're planning on joining a dodgeball league then you should know that flicking dodgeballs is against the rules in most leagues that I've seen (even though there was technically only two being the dodgeball league and the Reclympics) And for some reason, sometimes when I randomly find someone who's good at catching, I just challenge them to a game of catch for the fun of it

If your walking, go on standing mode now you can slide that allows you to move forwards without pressing anything for a small amount of time this is a good way to double

If someone teleports back (and u already hit him) here is no sense to "teleport" your ball back and throw it again cause you'll hit him anyways. But if you didnt hit him - yea, you're must to throw it again

that’s what i started on too. it’s harder to catch on walk with psvr so i would suggest teleport and if you haven’t already hook up a ethernet to your ps. it helps with some of the lag
