I work at an ethanol plant. My family farms and raises cattle right across the road from the plant. They deliver us corn, we turn the corn into fuel that they put into their gas tank to power their pick up truck to pull their wagon back to the ethanol plant to pick up DDGs to feed their cattle. Manure from the cows gets spread onto their fields to help raise better corn to be delivered to us. And the cycle continues!

No oil use so far then maybe exhaust is getting into the crankcase? liner, head, valve seat, head gasket? Great video's, thanks.

Our 8360R did the same smoking that yours did, then about 200 hours of running with no oil use, it started taking 2 to 3 quarts a day. Took it to the dealer and it had to be overhauled. The dealer said it had bad piston rings that failed.

Not a farmer, wish I’d gotten into it many yrs ago. Just wondering if you had many issues with JD equipment & if you had to do it all over again would you still use JD or is there something more reliable out there??Cheers! 👍🏻✌🏼🙏🏼🚜

Hi. Where did you get your rock picker from? The Veggie Boys are looking for one ( in Pennsylvania ) n can't seem to find one in their area. Thanks. Glad your corn season is over for Y'all. Peace to you and yours

Not a farmer, wish I’d gotten into it earlier on in my life. Been a big fan of yours over the past few years. Just curious, seems like you’ve had a lot of problems with John Deere equipment breaking down. If you had to do it over again would you go a different route on the equipment you use or stay put?? Another informative vid, keep up the great work my friend!! 👍🏻✌🏼🙏🏼🚜

Between you folks and Ryan & Red, I thought I might have doubts of John Deere. Ugh

How many hours were on the combine? Tough not knowing what's going on with an engine... know your pain! I guess one of those things to keep monitoring fluids and such and wait for something to change, hopefully nothing implodes in the process.

Maybe you need red equipment? That might mean less problems.

JOhn Deere, don't you have to have a service tech live in the barn because they don't want you workin on your own tractor?

There are lots of things that you can do to John Deere if you really want to and there are ways that you can get what you need
