I'm in favor of reseeding. And get rid of divisions while we're at it. The central divisions in both leagues get to be mediocre every year and still make the playoffs. Just have the American and National League.

Well the Padres are going to throw Darvish and Cease at the Dodgers. It could either be two outcomes, Dodgers get completely dominated by those two or Dodgers get to their bullpen

Having Yamamoto pitch game 1 instead of Flaherty was not a wise choice. It is still uncertain how many innings Yamamoto can pitch. Getting that first win is a best of 5 series is pretty important.

No. Shohei Ohtani has not yet started to face hitters. It's very, very unlikely he pitches this year.

No, they're saying 14 because they don't trust Pages on defense. If he PHs they want KK available to play CF in case Edman is at SS or 2B late in the game. If they have a one run lead in the 9th inning, they want Kopech on the mound with an OF of Taylor, KK and Betts from left to right. That can't happen with a 4-man bench.

Not a fan of the expanded wild card series?! That is an interesting take to say the least. You sound like the boomers who were against expanding the college football playoffs because it compromised the value of bowl games. People who are against competition are a little sus....

how did expanding the wild card work last year with the lowest rated world series of all time? also: 1-more stress on pitchers due to an extra round 2-uneven rest days which causes issues with recovery 3-turns trade market into a sellers market = less trade activity as more teams hold onto players if they think they can make the postseason. expanding the wild card series wasn’t done to make baseball better. it’s a move for owners to make more money. no different than that bs nba in season ‘tournament’.
