LA fan. The best I got is Braisser was not put in high leverage situations. The dodgers don’t use a dedicated closer but instead look for matchups and they had Phillips, Vesia, Graderol, Trienin, and Koepec to pitch the higher leverage situations. That said, Braisser was a key in the ‘24 WS championship pitching great in the playoffs. Gonna miss him but it is a statement to how stacked they are.

Going off of the numbers and the 2024 situation for Brasier, you have to look at FIP and K/9 compared to his ERA even with his ERA being sub 3.50. He was also getting used in mostly lower leverage situations compared to being a setup man in 23 and had the highest ERA from our non-rookie relievers outside Brent Honeywell. It sucks because he was solid in 23 but he’s unfortunately the low man on the totem pole in a lethal bullpen

If you ask me Teoscar did better at Dodgers stadium cause of two things 1. A good hitting staff 2. Dodger Stadium is 505 feet above sea level compared to T mobile park, just look at Coors Field they're a 5280 above sea level if the Rockies were a good team they could have the arenas bad elevation to their advantage

Brasier had one monster season with the Dodgers (2023, 0.77 ERA) and then got injured and missed 12 weeks this season and was pretty mid when he was healthy. He's also going to be 38 this season and now has a recent injury history and you can't option him to the minors like the Dodgers can with a couple other names on their 40-man, so he's likely a victim of LA's desire to be flexible and deep. They should get something decent for him in trade -- even if just a draft pick -- before the DFA deadline if 29 other teams aren't really stupid and cheap.

Do you think this is a good idea btw I sent this to MLB email so it is directed at the mlb if you think this is a good idea I ask you to please cover it in a video so that the mlb can see it I believe the MLB Allstar games have become a bit repetitive over time and I have a new way for the MLB to make money and create an exciting experience for fans. Also my proposition would help fans see new players who don’t have the power to compete in the Homerun Derby. My idea is for fielders who want to compete and have a higher OAA ( Outs Above Average ) than a certain number or certain metric for a position. These players will be able to compete in one of three categories. Category 1 will be for catchers, their challenges will include fastest pop-time and how many runners would be thrown out at second base (based on the leagues average speed). Category 2 will be for infielders, this challenge will simply be a giant game of knockout that they would play as kids in practices. Category 3 will be for outfielders, their challenge will be to throw the best ball into home from a certain distance in the outfield, if the distance they thrown from is too easy it will be pushed back to make it harder. I believe these games would promote players better known for their fielding and less for their power. Players like Francisco Lindor, Javier Baez, Bryan Rocchio, Jazz Chisholm, and Steven Kwan. I am 14 years old and I would rather watch a skills competition than a celebrity softball game that wouldn’t make as much money as my proposition.
