What I found really encouraging about their performance tonight was that they WEREN’T just getting a couple solo-shots. I’ve been looking for a while now to see them just string hits together, and even with quite a few runners left on base, they were still able to grind out 9 runs. Way to go, LADs. 💙 Let’s see some support for Walker tomorrow.

That was a brilliant move putting Goatani leading off. I thought with Roberts he would likely give us Lux. Even though The Rockies aren't good ,you can't get too cocky and say they suck. Then next game they could win. You never know what the hell will happen in any single game.

It's weird, but Ohtani used to do great when Trout was injured and out of the line up. Perhaps he'll settle in now that Mookie is out, it's kind of bittersweet.

Shohei is more dangerous when he is the lead off guy. Maybe the Dodgers didn't want to hurt Mookie's feelings by not putting Shohei as the lead man. There are times when Mookie runs so slow that he prevents the speedy Shohei from picking up an extra base.

@@JohnSmith-nj4zq Yah, I feel like Dave Roberts weighs too heavily on the emotions of his players to make decisions. I appreciate that, but I don’t think the Mookie, Shohei, Freddie lineup ever really clicked. Hopefully, some new realization will come from Mookie’s absence.

Shohei should be the lead off guy. Many times Mookie would slow down Shohei from running extra bases. Shohei is like a Ferrari while Mookie is a Honda Accord. You gotta put the fastest guy as the lead off man. Shohei can steal bases or get that solo HR to put the team on top. Plus, the lead off guy usually gets to hit one more than the others during the game.

I've said when Mokkie went down, Dodgers are still a really good team, with Mokie Yammoto out and can win their division, also stated when Dogers going thru hitting slump, leaving runners on base, I thought a batting order change for players might spark their offense. When Pages was hitting really good, then he changed his number, he went into hitting slump, so I said maybe he should get his old # back, I guess he read that, "probable not", then he started hitting Now with the Offence and new batting order, Dodgers put on really nice solid hitting performanc. 1 game down 3 to go with the New Defence and Offence look , let's see what happens. PS. I wish during the pregame show we could get selected to call in and give our insight on what we see as Dodger fan. 1 good win down 3 more to go let's see what happens. GO Dodgers. Not knocking on Mookie at all. He's starting at a brand new position this year, so it's gonna take him more than just the few months this season to learn the position. He'll get there eventually, so it's damn unfortunate that he got hurt... But it's like day and night when Miguel Rojas is at SS. The throws and the positioning are so different. It's gonna be amazing when Mookie gets to that type of level.

Nothing is wrong with the Dodgers bullpen. They have the best bullpen in the NL and 2nd best in all of baseball. Most teams have high and low leverage relief pitchers, last night the Dodgers were up 9-1 so they decided to throw in a low leverage RP because why waste a good arm when you're up by 8 runs?
