i think with dodgers being near hollywood and all the production talent around certainly helped. if you ever watched the LA Chargers youtube and production, it's also great. Hard saying that since I'm a Raider fan lol.

Steve Garvey's father Joe drove a bus for the Dodgers during spring training. Steve was a bat boy for the Dodgers from 1956 to 1961. The Dodgers didn't protect Roberto Clemente and the Pirates took him with the rule 5 draft. Willie Stargell was the first player to hit a baseball out of Dodger Stadium. Though the Angels were featured in The Naked Gun, the stadium is Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers chose Eric Sonberg in the 1983 draft instead of Roger Clemens who was taken with the next pick by Boston. Future Dodger starter, Tom Belcher, was the first pick overall and was drafted by the Twins.

Lmfao I remember I disliked roberts after his first season because I saw past all the talent he was carried by.. at that point he was coming off manager of the year and it felt like 99% of the fan base loved him. Little by little it’s been turning and now feels like 90% of the fan base hates him. Good to be one of the OG Robert hate club
