I think we need to consider going after a solid Shortstop and move Mookie to 2nd base. Let's go after either Ely De La Cruz, Adames, or O'Neil Cruz. These guys are athletic, speedsters, and great defensive players. We need to keep Mookie fresh for October. Shortstop is going to war him out. Goat-hani!

You really can’t put the entire blame on Buehler for Sunday’s loss. Buehler could have pitched a complete game and given up only one run and he still would have lost. The same thing for the loss on Friday. At some point the focus has to be on his he offense.

Outman is too pull happy. He's not making contact so he needs to focus more on going up the middle and gap to gap to keep his bathead in the strikezone longer. He only swings the bat at one speed too. He needs to follow the pitch into the glove more to keep his eyes on the pitch longer as he swings. He goes blind once he swings and that looks like it alters the trajectory of his swing path to the ball. He's not being observant enough or studying each pitcher's tendencies. He's not observant enough about his own hitting to try something different or change his flaws. Both Outman and Freeman could be in better shape too ,and increase their athleticism for better results at the plate. Outman trys to accelerate his preperatory motion at the plate late as the pitch is being delivered. He's too rigid at the plate and not fluid with his timing which is off a little . Or his aim . Pitch recognition is extremely poor. He's getting fooled on breaking pitches mostly . But on all pitch types too he's not picking up spin or break . And observing the pitchers before his AB's for intel. He's also not aware of himself and his flaws and strengths too!
