King pitched a hell of a game too. That was a big factor. But, yeah that game really sucked. Nothing after Bogarts threw it away in the first to score Ohtani, that was memorable, or positive, till the 9th. Then the triple play of all things before the Big Sho got a chance to save us again.

If the Dodgers have no reliable number 3 or 4 starter for the playoffs, they might as well use their roster spots for more relievers and have bullpen games. It’s not normal but they may have no choice. I don’t trust Buehler or Kershaw in a playoff game. If they try to get 5 innings out of them, it might not go very well.

Buehler is starting to improve . They have flaherty ,yamamoto , and kershaw if he returns and maybe landon knack so those are 5 pitchers right there , of course if kershaw returns. Who knows maye flaherty game1 yamamoto game 2 kershaw game 3 and landon knack or buehler game 4.

Please don’t hate me: I think betts and freeman should bat 8 and 9… shohei at 1 Tommy tanks at 3, Hernandez at 4 smith at 5. Why? Because this way you can put the pressure off betts and freeman if they wiff it won’t matter and if they get hits shoehei gets a chance to clean up. Fill the other spots with whomever and pray for high offensive output.
