Never been into baseball, but after Shohei joined the Dodgers I got a streaming subscription, and started watching every game. Never been more happy to bite the bullet on a less then 10 dollar a month sub in my life! Shohei Ohtani is not just the greatest in baseball, he is the driving force for a lot of us here in Japan waking up every morning, and watching the Dodgers play from 5 - 11AM start every morning. As of today Shohei Ohtani has 400 Total Bases and 97 XBH, the last time someone reached 400 Total Bases was in 2001 when Four Players had 400+ Total Bases. Before that it was Jim Rice in 1978 with 86 XBH and 406 Total Bases and Hank Aaron in 1959 with 400 Total Bases and 92 XBH. Ohtani is in good company here. Well done.

Remember Ohtani is recovering from a UCL (basically playing with one good arm) set a record no player has ever accomplished going 50-50 in one of the greatest games, also broke a team record for most homeruns, most extra base hits, most consecetive games with an RBI with ten straight games as a leaderoff hitter and one more run from setting the record for a season.
