​@@NXT_LVL if you're going ti talk about the Pontiac GTO, Judge. You should know the car's production was started in 1969 and ended after only 300 units were built in 1971 before being discontinued. People obviously were smart enough to purchase a regular GTO for less money or other brands of muscle cars. The reason most people would purchase these current Mopar editions would be for the hope of flipping them for a profit. I'm guessing the next final edition will be return of the Plymouth Road Runner using a Challenger body.

I just picked a Mopar Edition Charger this past Saturday in St Catharines, Ontario. 1 of 20 in Canada. I am number 80 of 220. Very happy. Traded in my 2021 standard body Challenger Scat Back. Always wanted a wide body and a final call car. Both boxes ticked. I love it! No mark up. $2,000 off MSRP.

What a joke. Dodge has gotten out of hand with all these "packages." You mentioned, "Sitting in this feels almost like my Demon." Ummm, it pretty much is the same thing. Minus the power. They all have been the same thing for over a decade. All they do is throw more power at a chassis that was really never designed for, and it shows. They are not exclusive. Those badges can be bought or made on a 3D printer and you can wrap the hood and POOF, you have an "exclusive " charger. A car that can be stolen in seconds. Far more stress then they are worth to be honest. Not to mention, everyone and their mom have one. Nothing exclusive about a charger. IMO, these cars have lost their excitement years ago. They are all the same thing, just a different power. For the money you can buy or build lots of cars FAR superior. They need a full revamp. Boring.

The base price for my 2021 ScatPack was $39485. My cost was $48265 and that included the Plus Group, the Driver Convenience Group, Alpine Stereo Group (wish I had gotten the Harmon Kardon) and a sunroof. So yeah, Dodge is definitely hiking the prices on the 2023s. Also, the Widebody was a $6000 option, not $8000 like it is now.

$48k is responsible. The asking prices now days is just stupid. I just decided to buy an older car, build it, and now it will out perform them. It's actually truly "exclusive " because my son and I built it, and it runs almost as fast as a 170. People are fools to pay these prices. Folks go buy a car with a chassis that is designed for power and or handling and enjoy it, take it to the track, drive it and park it at the movie theater with out worrying if it will be there when you get out. It's time the dealership learned, we don't need them or their over priced cars

Yes I got my 2020 Scatpack WB decked out when the WB option barely came out on the charger for MSRP of 52.3k. I actually bought the car for 49k so yea those were the good times.

This package is highway robbery. For one, we are in the year 2024 and the 2024s come out typically in September of 2023. Dodge is still selling 2023s as if they are new 2024s. Do they think the consumers are complete idiots? These are all, year old cars and should have a minimum of a $5,000 rebate on them. Then, sell a 40,000 Scat Pack and throw in options no one ever needs and sell it for almost $70,000. Just unbelievable. Who in their right mind would be this Mopar edition? No one...that is why they didn't make too many of them. Even Dodge knows this is a hard sell. There just isn't enough mopar identity on it. It looks like a regular black Scat Pack. Pathetic waste of money.

History shows us this has been going on for a very very long time. Worst of them all was the Harley Davison edition Ford F150s/Lightning. Thats what happens when everyone got "brand loyal" based on pop-culture back in the 1970s and its carried on throughout. What made a Roadrunner popular to the public? It wasnt just the cheap price for the 383, it was the stripes the meep-meep horn and the bigger 440. GTO Judge too. Dart Swinger, Demon, Duster all the same car. Superbee was just a Coronet, but the Superbee had a Bee on it (SCAT Packs) as played on by the Rat Pack of Dean Martin, Sinatra etc. Its ALWAYS been about marketing.

Mopar isn't Mopar anymore and hasn't really been that in decades, let alone the last 5 years, but in their heyday...nothing could touch them. As far as collector value, nothing can touch them there either, unfortunately. Any solid rolling chassis of any Mopar is ridiculously inflated compared to even a rare Camaro/Chevelle, or nearly any Mustang from the same era. Idk what a new Challenger had to do with any of this, though 🤷🏼‍♂️

They should have done a blue 392 decal instead of default scatpack badge. Blue stitching would have been a good add on the interior. Seems kinda lazy to me. That spoiler, strut tower brace, and serializing are good touches. Would have liked to have seen some kind of performance adder like 100 octane tune on any special models for instance so it wouldn't be just a "sticker package"

The Challenger is a perfect combination. The Suede and 6 spd, Carbon touches are Hi End . The stripe design is tastefully done. Not Overbearing. And the bent towards Handling is a clue to do Suspension/Chassis Mods to get it to a perfect package.

I remember the 392 being 39k, and about 46k for the widebody back in 2019. I believe the widebody Daytona was about 49-50k which is a loaded car. What are they asking for this car? Over 60k, for the same car with some trim upgrades. They can't say it was R&D, or new tech. That's just nuts.

I really enjoy your Mopar related videos. I have owned many mopars, with my first being a 1970 Dodge Dart. I currently own a 2006 Dodge Charger RT Daytona in Top Banana colors and a 2023 Dodge Durango RT with the Hemi Orange and Tow & Go packages in Destroyer Grey. I like driving cars that are a bit unique and fun. This video got me thinking. Is there any way to determine how many Durango RTs were produced in 2023 with the Hemi Orange and Tow & Go Packages? I live in Tucson, and I haven't seen another Durango like mine. If you haven't driven a Durango RT with the Tow & Go Package, you should check it out. It's definitely a fun daily driver.

Dodge need to be sued for saying all jailbreak 23 last call was all gonna be 797 but when ppl started getting them last Feb and March after you put the 500 mill on to "unlock it" 797 well didn't happen we all email Dodge never responded to anyone until they announced on thier home page " Sorry it was was typo, all the jailbreak below will be 700 to 717 the Redeye and up have the 797+" ohhhhh im still pissed on that one. I drove the challenger edition week before last. It put a huge smile on my face! I would have liked to have seen Mopar on the side instead of the 392 . Stereo sucks compared to the Harmon Kardon. I still want an automatic trans compared to the manual… but it’s funny I called the dealer where I bout my 22 scat and said MSRP? Nope… called a dealer where I test drove the car , it is at MSRP. I must go with the Challenger every time! My first car, H.S. Graduation Present was a brand new off the Dealership Showroom Floor was a 1973 Brown 340 CID CUDA. It ran pretty good for 240 HP. I think the 1/4 in 14.5 or a 15.5 I preferred the Challenger to the Cuda but my cousin had a 1970 Dark Green 383 Pistol Grip Shifter Challenger, so I wanted to be different. The Cuda was an Automatic Slap Stick with a white interior. It was a big hit with my friends. A lot of fun to cruise around downtown Altoona PA. Back in the mid 70s just when insurance and gas prices began to hurt the Days of the Muscle Cars. The Cuda had an MSRP of just over $4,000 and “we” got the car for $3,400. Unfortunately, the Cuda had problems with the Voltage Regulator and that part was replaced 3 times. Trading the Cuda in 1975 at the Pontiac Dealer was for another showroom floor car: Did you guess for a? That’s right, a brand new 1975 400 CID 4 speed Trans Am. MSRP OF $5,200 My only car since 1973 to be a “Stick Car”. I still hate to be parked on a hill, bumper to bumper or at a Stop Light on a steep hill. Stall it out like crazy and/or wait for someone to move their car. Don’t damage the bumpers!!! Bad knees and age now eliminate the manual transmission for me.

They send the owners packet with the book and plaque to you month after buying it. That is what happened when I bought my Mopar 19 edition.

You can order that spoiler that spoiler comes off for 1320. It's the car that's just under the demon it has that same sport on it
