Absolutely this. But what to do in place of brand sets? I think allowing a specific side talent for the Exotic is needed. Like how Memento gives short and long term buffs. Allow the NBMB to unlock short term buffs somehow, based on tiers. Where the +1 perk unlock is the long term.

Or, which I know will be quite ridiculous, instead of it acting as one piece of gear towards gear and brand sets, it acts as two pieces for only one set you have equipped, that you get to select 🤷‍♂️

@L_O_W_K_E_Y-G oh yeah it would be, it was just an idea I had, but in the state of how division 2 is played and how the systems work it would be absolutely busted. However, releasing the ninja bike backpack, as a backpack in the first place, has made it outright useless and gimmicky, besides a certain few builds. I would love to be able to use the backpack to make a ongoing directive build that has the benefits of spreading from the eclipse protocol set, like it wouldn't be meta, but an extremely fun and different build, that's just what I was thinking of with my idea. I'd love for there to be more build variety, but unfortunately the ninja bike bag, just does not add any real variety, apart from worse versions of what we already have

The backpack is for hybrid builds, not pure dps builds. Skill tier rolled picaro's holster with technician is skill tier 4 and you still have 4 gear slots available do whatever you want.

that was my first thought, all 3 cores plus picaro holster plus technician and play around sets like umbra or true patriot or any, where backpack is not mandatory. All reroled for skill cores to have 6.

Like you said b4 a ninja holster😊it would then be amazing for creating new builds, I guess that would make things too powerful and they can't balance the game rather than they don't play their own game enough to understand it, who knows as they never explain their reasoning, everyday I hear of new broken things caused by latest update its now a standing joke amongst players, maybe it could be a new project mission after each update, find and list whats now broken, missing, changed or just plain weird and get a Blue Peter badge arm patch👍

It was a really missed opportunity, with the Ninja Bike BackPack. They should allow you add any backpack talent, to the ninja bike. But unfortunately that only be the Brand set talnets and not also the Gear set talnets.

@@drers25i, the overall drop off comes from not having a talent. After gear 2.0 it's not the same as it was in the og game. There it actually helped. Gotta have an idea, test it and keep at it.

Hey Dod, since we're on the topic of Gear Sets you should totally do a comparison video on Gear Set Backpacks vs Chests. This is assuming you have a build where you only have room for the chest or BP. I know it's going to vary on build type and play style, but I'm curious to see the numbers on the DPS sets. For example strikers and negotiators, .65x200 or 1x100? 60% crit damage to 5 targets or 100% crit damage to 3? Thanks!

IMO there are only 3 worth while builds with Ninja bike. Not necessarily for the damage but the added utility. Mind you I’m a pvp player. Pve wise I feel there is only one build, headshot determined build with ninja is a decent stable damage build. There is also one fun build that is usable, not necessarily good, but it’s fun. Two of these builds are healer builds. You covered both of them. And a full tank for pvp. You can have enough of all resistances to be nearly immune to everything and be immune to pulse. So you can just run around popping survivor medkits with efficient. My fun build is umbra striker with measured vector. All blue. 2003 RPM is super fun. Full mag in .8 seconds is fun. Since the normal BP talent is just regen.

I use an off meta umbra pesti build for all content from raids to legendary and darkzone pvp and no matter what combo ive tried the ninja bike bag is needed for my build

NinjaBag is only really good in PvP combined with Picaro's Holster. You get 2 Armor 2 Skill without sacrificing Weapon Dmg, while still able to get Fox's Prayer, 100% Pulse Resist with Two Piece Yaahl (Hollowman for Health DMG), and a Chest of your Choice, usually weapon type dmg with Unbreakable, can also go Contractors and a Walker Harris Chest to stack Dmg to Armor. Or Heartbreaker, two Piece Yaahl if you know the other players aren't running Pulse Resist themselves, it's kinda suck but kinda cheesy in a group using Rock n' Roll to surprise power stack Bonus Armor. Either run Tech or swap out a single Core to get three Skill Tier for Jam countering Skill Builds. For meme's I have a Technician Skill build with Picaro's Holster, two piece Empress, one piece Hanna U, one piece Fenris with a Red all secondary Crit Chance/Skill Damage using Capacitor. Technically is 6 Reds (using Cap), 6 Skill, 2 Blue, 40% AR Dmg 50% chance 75% crit 95% Headshot. My skills lack a bit of dmg but still performs, the gun feels decent. Been swapping between Glass Cannon and Kinetic Momentum. Almost forget, using both Striker Drone and Turret.

There is one problem for me with backfire. It’s low rpm. Tried every setup and just can’t get it to be decent. But backfire shines when global event is on. Use it then.

I love the bag myself. But yea when it comes time to do legendary raids etc it is a major hinderance. Works for heroic nicely and definetly makes putting together hazard protection builds for the DZ together nice an easy. Definetly not BiS though. People who think that are just crazy lol

HI! Don't know if you will see this, I put a haz pro build together (not pvp minded with it). Its the Ninja Bike, 1 Cavalier, 1 Ceska and 3 Striker. I can get 100% haz pro and have the 3 mod slots still available. Is this the right way to build that? I am running it with the SMG that sucks your blood on reload. 52% CHC and 50 CHD before mods. Thank you!

I use a hunters build with it. Now I'll be honest it does pump out more damage than the momento but you seriously lose sustainability. You will find you will have to cover more and use a armor kit when you normally wouldn't.

Anything other that Chest of BP would be preferable, though Holster would be the best option if it was to compete with the Meta, simply just because of Contractor's and Fox's. Potentially Mask, but Hollowman - Punch Drunk, there are really for too many other options. With Holster, we have Grupo/Fenris/W&H or Dodgecity. Can't run Dodgecity as it is already and exotic.

I think one piece hotshot is good with ninja bag cause you get 30% handling then toss on belstone for armor on kill and a little regen then any blue set that doesn’t need a backpack

I’m interested in your opinion about new sniper rifle talent and how it works. I don’t think it’s overpowered. I think snipers become good at clearing content in same speed as strikers/status effects/drone builds.

Still builds are actually hit the hardest with Ninja Bag. I promise you, there is zero point. All gear and brand set bonuses are Skill Damage. Where things like Combined Arms, Tech Support, Shock and Awe, these are all TOTAL Skill damage. You can near enough combine every brand set in the game and you wont even come close to making up this level of difference.

Even without a ninja bp, my headshot sniper build is about 349 percent hs damage all reds. Tbh I think I'll lose hs damage with the ninja bp and I'm not fully optimized yet.

I don't understand Punch Drunk on a MMR build? It will give 30% HSD but the brand bonus is pistol. Providence or Hasburg will give 35% HSD, am I missing some thing? For a Ninja MMR build I would think 3 piece Hotshots or Aces with Airaldi headhunter chest and a Hasburg all red something would make the most out of the BackPack talent? I reckon a full gearset with Chainkiller and the Gift will still beat it or Full gearset with Airaldi HH and Hasburg Vigilance. I'll mess with Ninja Bike when I unlock it but I don't expect it to be game changing.

The Punch Drunk this is kind of a safety net. With Full MMR builds, you tend to use White Death and Nemesis. Both high power, but slow. So if you have a rusher run up on you, you have one option. Pistol. You are right, but typically people like to have a Safe option just in case.

Aces and Airaldi are obsolete, hotshot and Hasburg both have higher set bonuses. But overall yeah. But the ninja is actually worth with this set up. Because 3 HotSt 1 Hasburg 1 Airaldi is only 5% weapon damage less then a Hasburg Vigy BP. And with vigy you have the down side of possible down time. Yea it’s technically less damage, but if you can one shot every thing in the game basically (raid bosses), does 5% really matter. Nope. It’s a good build. One of the only good ones with a Ninjabike.

NinjaBike only really gives great value to high-end gear sets, specifically for single pieces. Each piece would then give you 2 set bonuses totaling 10 set bonuses. I really dont think you should build it with 4pc teal sets, unless its super niche.

Using DPS as the ONLY metric for BiS/Meta is shortsighted. If you can get the same time to kill with 33% less pure DPS that opens up survivability/utility/etc. People tend to view DPS as having the biggest hammer when something half the size will effectively do the same thing and allow you to add multiple extra tools to your kit. Ninja adds versatility.....that was the point. Whats meta to one player is not meta for another if it doesnt fit your abilities/experience/playstyle. Hunters Fury for example... its super powerful but I hate the playstyle and I can kill as fast or faster with a run and gun Umbra and actually have fun. Honestly avoid any build videos that dont factor in the biggest relevant question ......HOW FUN IS IT?

Diablo 4 Meta - Equated through DPS. Diablo 3 Meta - Equated through DPS. Monster Hunter Meta - Equated through DPS. Remnant Meta - Equated through DPS. WoW Meta - Equated through DPS Warframe Meta - Equated through DPS. The list goes on, but any game, that has a Stat or Attribute bassed system has a Meta that is equated througyh DPS, It has been like this for over two decades, it is not going to change any time soon. Droping 33% in DPS will have a difference on your TTK, On 4 man Heroic scaling it is a 3.6 second difference. And no, Meta is Meta, we have definable calculations for it, it does not change player to player. Fun is not quantifiable. Meta is. I find playing with spread sheets all day fun, pretty sure you won't.
