i liked the book but personally the second book blows it out of the water. the trials i think were just to show how desperate feyre is as a human to save the guy she likes and also to show amouranths cruelty and the way she likes to wield her power. also feyre is young still so she's just naive and makes bad decisions w/o thinking sometimes

Which is totally fine to write feyre that way, but man, the trials part just felt so out of place for me. Oh well, I’ll be reading the sequel soon!

That is the best way to explain this book and i honestly love it.
