6:31 I agree with your take on Stormlight. It’s weird, because I’m probably the biggest fan of Sanderson that isn’t the biggest fan of the Stormlight Archive. But I’m looking forward to reading Wind & Truth.

Yup I agree. Dig your taste a lot! Lotr was described perfectly and appropriately ranked. And I’m 5 books into Malazan and the first novella-it’s absolutely enthralling

Im doing a first time read through of Malazan. Im reading the Esslemont “Novels of the Malazan Empire” along with them (which will only be the first 2 until I finish crippled god) and it’s great. People say Esslemont’s NotME series is part of Erikson’s book of the fallen so I out them in. I’m having a great time. Finished Reaper’s Gale and now halfway through Return of the Crimson Guard. This series is so amazing. I also read one of the Novellas that are dark comedies in the Malazan world and laughed quite a bit. After Reurn of the Crimson Guard I will be on Toll the Hounds which will mean I’d be on book 10/16. This series is such a ride. The most passion I’ve ever felt for a story.
