By the way, "coyote time" stand for: time before gravity kicks in. Is a game dev technique used in platformers to help the player when jumping off a platform. Sometimes the character can be out of the platform but the player doesn't notices, making it feel like the game is not responsive. Thats when coyote time kicks in, an is called like this because of the looney toons coyote that stays in the aire for a while before falling.

Love that you made a series of this goat I'm really excited about this game. Apparently the coyote time has something to do with being able to hang in the air for a second if you walk off a ledge...like Wiley used to do. Coyote time, get it? Great video buddy!

Heya Goat, newish to your channel and enjoying your videos! Coyote time clarification in case you didn't know or realize... it refers to Wiley Coyote from the Roadrunner cartoons, specifically how he levitates for a short period before falling. When you run off a ledge, Coyote time gives you a small grace period where you float after running off a ledge. I haven't played the game yet but I'm sure you can probably jump during this time to get to harder to reach areas or reposition. Hope that helps!

Coyote time is the fraction of a second you get to input a jump after leaving a ledge. Think of it like the long jumps in og Mario, how you jumped after you left the edge.

Well, people are making excel sheets with all the recipes they find, so technically you could look up stuff.But I think exploring it by yourself is more fun. I also think you might have to progress more in the cave to make sense of the old lady encounter, you keep quitting at the same place. (I also really really wish you used that shotgun more for close combat ... or used the cooked food more often instead of running around with half HP and panicking in every encounter. That being said, you probably record these in blocks, so whatever we say probably just trickles in 3-4 episodes later, assuming we are not just backseat gaming badly :D ) Cheers

I've seen it. These vids were recorded a week before the game came out and we are "catching up" to vids that are closer to real time.
