I remember finding out about Domo back around 2010-ish on Duck Life 3 as a hidden boss. I misremembered their name as "Domino" for so long. lol

This takes me back. I remember everyone in my high school was obsessed with Domo. Our local library even had a Domo themed Arts and Crafts Day one year. (Made myself a pretty crappy Domo nightlight, lol) I'm surprised that no one really talks about him anymore.

My mother often scolded me as a child as I requested merchandise and clothing of this character. She always told me I would “grow out of it”. I suppose she was right, but I want this character to become popular again.

My dog just recently started playing with his Domo toy that I got a few years back at a 99cents only store. Thank you so much for this video, because I honestly had no idea where he came from, I just remembered him. Also, once upon a time, I won an orange Domo plushie from a claw machine at Walmart or Kroger, which was subsequently destroyed by my 7th grade students.

The only reason I recognize domo was because I remember going to the local dying mall and looking through the gumball machines hoping to find pencil toppers and only finding a machine full of what I thought was an angry shit bricks

interesting thing about Domo TV: the english dub of the show released on Nicktoons and on DVD has a slightly different script for Tachanna and only Tachanna than the versions on KZbin. no idea why this was, but i noticed this since i watched the shorts on KZbin after growing up owning the DVD as a kid.

Super interesting, yeah, I think I encountered that a few times when watching some episodes in preparation to make this video, specifically the “headphones” episode. They must’ve just wanted to tweak the episodes slightly before putting them on the official Domo KZbin channel, but not sure on the actual reason. Thank you for watching though!

Thank you for making this video! I just took a trip to Japan and was looking for merch of Domo (wanted to find a souvenir for my cousin who grew up with this little dude). After much searching, we found a character store in Tokyo where they had a TINY corner of him. We're talking less than 6 products on a very small shelf, people. Overall, I was very disappointed they didn't have much more of him. After watching this video, it makes much more sense now... I'm hoping he'll circle back in a couple years as vintage so I don't have to run all over Tokyo looking for him lol

Bro I completely forgot about Domo. I remember a bunch of Domos being enemies for a final boss level in Duck Life 3. Does anyone remember Duck life 3? The gimmick of the game was evolving ducks. I think that duck life 3 was my favorite. Duck life 4 was my 2nd favorite because it gave so much character to individual ducks but I could never beat the game.
