John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life". New Covenant began with the death of Jesus Christ: Mediator: Jesus is the mediator of the New Covenant, and his death on the cross is the basis of the promise. Blood sacrifice: The blood of Christ is the only blood sacrifice required by the covenant. Sealed by blood: The New Covenant was sealed by the blood of Jesus, which paid the price for the forgiveness of sins for all who believe in him. The New Covenant is based on faith in the shed blood of Christ, not on repeated sacrifices or other kinds of work. The New Covenant fulfills all of God's covenant promises, including the promises to Abraham, Israel, and David. The Old Covenant was established with God's people and required strict obedience to the Mosaic Law. However, the prophets Moses, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel all alluded to the New Covenant while the Old Covenant was still in effect.

Have them share their understanding of the gospel and we must share the clear and pure gospel. Afterwards we can know how to better approach the subject or topic at hand, understanding that it is always about leading them to God’s grace and mercy through His gospel. According to the Bible, Jesus fulfilled the Law of Moses in several ways, including: Teaching the law: Jesus taught the spirit and letter of the law, explaining and exemplifying God's law. Completing the law's purpose: Jesus' death and resurrection accomplished the purpose of the law. Ratifying the covenant: Jesus' death ratified the new covenant. Destroying the barrier of sin: Jesus' sacrifice on the cross destroyed the barrier of sin that separated people from God. Fulfilling a prophecy: Jesus fulfilled the prophecy in Isaiah 42:21, which says that God will exalt the law and make it honorable. Jesus said, "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them" (Matthew 5:17-18). The phrase "the Law and the Prophets" refers to the entire Hebrew Bible. Jesus' fulfillment of the law was not just about obeying the law's commands, but about fulfilling its true meaning.

7:43 I can see that written on your heart is not by itself but there is the principle that the Lord God will make everything beautiful in His time displayed when Jesus stands in the synagogue, reads portion of Isaiah 61 and closes the scroll, then sits down and teaches the people that the Scripture He read had been fulfilled in their hearing. I think this Sicarii fellow, if he remained consistent, would have grips with Jesus for saying it was fulfilled while at that moment the Sicarri fellow didn’t also see or experience the day of vengeance of God that is spoken of in the same verse. I think he would try to refute the true claim Jesus made by saying that both things written about haven’t occurred so therefore the prior hadn’t yet been fulfilled (even after being told that it has).

This is why is it extraordinarily important to study the sanctuary process. It will answer so many of these questions. But because modern Christianity has eliminated any idea of the sanctuary because of the cross it's hard to understand things like when Christ will put on his crown as king and if he's literally sitting at the right hand of the father. At this moment we still have a mediator when we pray. Therefore Christ is still in high priest mode. He will not take off those priest garments and become king until he is done meditating she comes to claim his kingdom

@MightymanofvalorАй бұрын
This guy is sinning just by his mannerisms. 🤦🏻♂️ but he don’t need grace
@Unknown_Disciple_Of_ChristАй бұрын
When did the New Covenant begin? Quick Answer: When did the New Covenant begin? The New Covenant began at the death of Christ (Luke 22:20; Hebrews 9:16). This means Jesus lived and ministered under the Old Covenant (Galatians 4:4). This is why some of Jesus’ teachings expose the true spirit of the Old Testament law. Diving Deeper: Once we have finished reading the Old Testament, we come to the New Testament which starts in Matthew 1. But did you know that the New Testament era, or new covenant, does not really begin in Matthew 1? That’s right. It’s not baby Jesus in a manger that brings in God’s new way of grace. The new covenant didn’t begin until 33 years later at the death of Christ (Luke 22:20; Hebrews 9:16). Note that the words “testament”, “covenant”, and “will” are all the same Greek word diathéké. This is important because it’s a death, not a birth, that is required to activate a will or testament. Therefore, the New Testament era (also known as the new covenant) actually begins at the death of Christ, not at His birth. Hebrews 9:16-17 says: “In the case of a will, it is necessary to prove the death of the one who made it, because a will is in force only when somebody has died; it never takes effect while the one who made it is living.” A will does not go into effect until the death of the one who made it. Likewise, the new covenant did not go into force until Jesus died. In fact, even the old covenant did not go into effect without blood: “Moses then took the blood, sprinkled it on the people and said, “This is the blood of the covenant that the Lord has made with you in accordance with all these words” (Exodus 24:8). For this same reason, at the Last Supper, Jesus told His disciples the new covenant would be coming through His blood (not His birth): “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you” (Luke 22:20b). This means that Jesus’ entire earthly ministry was under the Old Covenant (Galatians 4:4). Jesus was born under the Law, and we draw the dividing line of human history at the cross, not at the manger: “But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law” (Galatians 4:4-5). Both Jesus and His audience lived during the old covenant Law. This is why we see so many harsh teachings from Jesus in which impossible standards are taught - cut off your hand, pluck out your eye, be perfect like God (see the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5-7 for examples). Have you ever wondered why Jesus taught that forgiveness was conditioned upon forgiving others first (Matthew 6:12-15)? Or why Jesus said we must be perfect like God (Matthew 5:48)? This was Jesus teaching the perfect standard of the Law so his hearers would see their need for God’s grace instead (Galatians 3:19-23). So, when you’re reading the Bible and come across verses in the four Gospels that seem to make rightness with God difficult or burdensome, remember that Jesus was showing the proud Jews of His day the impossibility of Law-based living and the fallacy of self righteousness. This does not mean that all of Jesus’ teachings before the cross were only relevant to those living under the old covenant. Jesus knew the new covenant was imminent, and the goal of His teachings was twofold: (1) to show people the futility of trying to keep the Law and (2) to prepare them for a new way of grace. These are the two main messages we see in the teachings of Christ. When we realize the cross is the dividing line between the old covenant and the new covenant, the impossible law-based teachings of Jesus finally make sense. And the message of God’s grace found in the Gospel becomes clearer than ever! 🖋 Dr. Andrew Farley

Hebrew 8 :7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. 8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: 9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. 10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: 11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. 12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. 13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

Hebrew 9: 15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. 16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. 17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. 18 Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood. 19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, 20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you. 21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry. 22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. 23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: 25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; 26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Hebrews 8:13 The old covenant is still waxing at that point and considering things like Isaiah 66 cites thing being unclean to eat alongside new heaven/earth I will not say that the old covenant has been snuffed out. If they are justified by the law then they are not under grace Galatians 5:4. I have no problem with their claim that they are bloodline Jakes (not every member of their claimed demographics but the individuals in these organizations who don't fall away). I think it is best to treat them as Jews who are edging their way into belief who hold some incorrect doctrine. When they come under grace they will cease to segregate themselves as Jews and become Sons of God.

This is the installment of the new Covenant... Hebrews 9:11-18 KJV [11] But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; [12] neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. [13] For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: [14] how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? [15] And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. [16] For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. [17] For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. [18] Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.

@BibleBeliever1Ай бұрын
@deuteronomycurse3221 I think the issue may be that you're leaving God himself out of the equation. The righteous bloodline even before Abraham descends from Adam, Seth, methuselah, Noah etc etc. In which case the ultimate father of them all including Adam is God Luke 3:38... Christ doesn't have an earthly father because he is still God. But he has an earthly mother because in order to die (because God in full glory can't die) he had to be born as a human. Christ also said he is the root (beginning/before) and the offspring (product of) David, Revelation 22:16. But his bloodline through Adam down to David began with his father in heaven. Christ is the lamb slain from the foundation of the earth. We can't understand these things without the new testament. This is why the Jews don't accept Christ because they refuse the new testament. We also have to remember there are also spiritual fulfilments to prophecies and not just physical. For example circumcision went from physical to the circumcision of the heart. The literal bloodline of the Jews is not what saves them anymore. Those who are Jews within are saved. Romans 2:28-29... Daniel 9 clearly explains the coming of the messiah and that he would be cut off (killed) (becoming the circumcision) in the midst of his years of ministry. Christ fulfilled it exactly. There is no way to deny that. The sanctuary process... he was the lamb slain from the foundation of the earth (sacrifice) He is the living water (baptism) (laver) He is the bread of life (table of shewbread) He is the light of the world (7 branch candle stick) He is the mediator of prayers between us and the father (incense) He never sinned and taught the law of God (Ark of the Covenant) If we refuse to see what Christ did in his life both physically and spiritually we will always be stuck in the old testament waiting for a messiah that's already come

Now but not yet. Is biblical. We are saved and not yet. Justified but not yet. Redeemed but not yet. Holy people. But not yet... The holy Spirit is the sign and seal of the new covenant. The new covenant is not gonna established when he comes. We know Christ and are in him and he's in us. The two have been made one. But not yet. . Made one By the Holy Spirit . It's the Holy Spirit writes it in our hearts. The law written on our hearts is not mean glorifications or perfection. The new heart is regeneration and new birth. The new covenant is forgiveness through Christ by his blood death and resurrection. The covenant has been cut. No new covenant then your under the Law New Covenant is one of Grace This is the New Covenant . Grace and truth came through Christ

It seems one of the roadblocks to the conversation is how we view prophecy. I'm not finished with the video yet, but so far, Vocab sees prophecy as obscure until it's revealed. Taz sees prophecy as clear when initially spoken. So, Vocab can rely on the New Testament to interpret prophecy, but Taz is looking at the world to interpret it. It seems this is the reason he can in a sense downplay the Hebrew writer. This seems to always be a sticking point. Do we interpret the OT in light of the NT, or do we interpret the NT in light of the OT.
@Tbrew-zd6xbАй бұрын
@slv. The question is this? According to jeremiah 31:31-34 and hebrews 8 the new covenant is made with the house of izrl/judah. Vocab uses replacement theology and completely ignores who its supposed to be made with
