I think purely from a gameplay standpoint, Cold War is better, but BO6 does have really, really nice progression. If you took Cold War, put BO6 prestige and camo challenges in there, and added gobblegums to their zombies, you'd have the best COD ever.

But, I do really enjoy the Omni movement. I pkayed a lot of black ops one and 2, but mostly mw2 OG and MW3 OG. BO6 was my forst cod in a very long time... It was good until i was done with the few camos i set a goal for. Gave the new barret a chance, got that to gold. Ive been on the "new to me" mw3 almost non stop now. The maps are so good and luckily i caught the tail end of the last season. Im going to try out cold war next. After a binge play time on mw3 i went back to bo6 to give the new season a shot.. dont do it. Trust me.

I'm mostly a Zombies player but when I play BO6 Multiplayer, holy crap, the maps are cluttered with shit everywhere, and so many tiny rooms. Makes me feel claustrophobic. In Cold War, I didn't like all the maps, but it had more open space, like for snipers, let's say. Might put in Cold War today just to see how it feels.

..so weird, in my 200 hours of playing BO6, I had packet burst like 5 times.. only 2 times it was actually unplayable. I don't understand what everyone is complaining about! My connection really isn't that great here on the german countryside. Maybe it's just the european servers being much better somehow? I don't mind the new maps. I wish there were more and admittedly, old maps were great, like Terminal, Rust, Favela, Hijacked, Shipment, Raid, and even Highrise, Slums or Express were quite nice. They should really bring back all of those in a dedicated mode! I never played Cold War, but it looks fun too.

Cold war absolutely holds up its the best online multiplayer game they have released since bo2. In my oppinion in order of the best online multiplayer games every released are bo2 bo1 and cold war. N honestly i would put cold war ahead of bo1 if they had better zombies maps and it wasnt such a buggy mess. Dude activision is so garbage at taking care of there servers. U can barely even play the og bo games cuz its so buggy it takes litterally 5 mins to navigate the menu on zombies as it runs at like 2 fps until u get into the actual game. And cold war is so buggy most of the time the guns wont even load in when ur veiwing it n sometimes when i load into nuketown 24/7 it take 30 seconds for the objects to even load in. All i want is a bo2 remaster with all the best maps like nuketown hijacked raid ect. They should just do that n then disappear for 5 years cuz im so sick of getting really into a cod game n then boom 9 months later they release another game and split there user base making lobbies harder to fill n then they just ignore the game n leave it a buggy mess. Also bo3 with dlc has the best assortment of zombies ever seen in 1 game.

Oh cold war runs fantastic on pc. I easily hit 165 fps at 1440p. I would check battlenet and see if they have a sale. The Campaign is phenomenal and zombies is great. Only reason I'm hesitant to say it's worthit is that I don't know how long lobbies will fill for MP. But multiplayers is a solid 8/10

Unable to join party usually means you have a NAT type mismatch or one of you has crossplay disabled

zombies is bugged sometimes if that’s what you’re trying to play. go into a multiplayer lobby and make your party open. your friend should be able to join you and you can move to zombies from there. on the other hand if it says one of you are offline then search for a match and the other should be able to join.
