If you're gonna count, treat the dealers well and stay under the radar (not huge spreads). I can't count how many times a dealer tapped off a game and notified me of a player for possible counting. Easy way to catch my attention, when a dealer announces Black Action, Cheques Play, Table Max, Deviation from basic strategy.

All I've learned, all I've lost and all the times heat got to me. Those are the reasons I keep going. Theres an art to understanding the game and when you get it down right, it's like a dance you've been working on and finally have each step down that you feel confident to sit and just play. That's the important part. Just play and dont think of anything else outside counting each card, spreading your bets correctly and having fun(less heat)

It can't help your cause, showing your faces, and saying your names, for anyone to see, and hear. I work in a casino, and if I was looking to catch card counters, I would capture your images, and names, and surveillance would know about you before you even walked in the door. On a positive note, keep it going. Take them for all their worth.

They're talking about it for a reason..... because they're NOT going to casinos and counting cards, they're PROMISING people riches and selling their "advice". That gives you an idea of how little it actually does work, that they're here talking about it instead of in a casino doing it. They have more to profit from doing this, if they didn't, this isn't what they'd be doing.

The traveling involved, mental highs and lows, solitude lifestyle, being 86ed out of casinos, constant money management, this all leads a person to wanting normalcy in their life. The folks running a card counting school website, gives them some income and being normal .

@@petarpirev That is exactly how math works. If you have a 1% edge and you bet 100$, your expected value is +1$. If you bet 100,000$ your expected value is +1000$. This means that if you bet 100$ an infinite number of times, you're expected to win 101$ per hand on average for every 100$ wagered

I think the biggest countermeasure casinos have against card counters is that card counting takes an enormous amount of discipline and study and if you don’t do it right you will lose your money to the casino anyway. So, casinos welcome people that think they are Kevin Spacey, because you’re just gonna lose your bank roll anyway.

Card counting 100% still works and we know several people who still make a considerable amount of money doing it. But if you want to make a lot of money doing it, you have to look at it as a job. It may be a fun job but it IS still a job. And to add to that, it is not a glamorous job like the movies make it look like. As a lot of them will tell other people, "it's a hard way to make an easy living."

Games are everywhere. Scout games outside of Vegas. I live in the middle of many and near a casino that really doesn't care, gotta protect that one a bit but with good networking you'll find one yourself. That said if you don't put in the work learning and networking... I'm kinda lucky but even traveling many good games near me.

Also the advantage player does not have a 1 percent every hand. The counter only has a 1 percent edge on certain hands and the house has the edge on most of the hands dealt, with that said good luck lol

Basic strategy works. You can get the casino edge down to about 1/2 of one percent (depending on the number of decks used and the rules enforced), but you will still be a long-term loser at the game.

The team play would work for example if you have 10expert card counters with let's say a bankroll of a hundred thousand each I am talking about heavy players. Perhaps 7 out of the 10 players will have a losing night.your hope is the other three remaining have very large nights to make up for the losses and you come out on top

Well there is a difference between an automatic shuffler and a continuous shuffler. Almost all casinos use the automatic shuffler which is just used to shuffle the cards before placed into the shoe how ever a continuous shuffler is kind of shaped like a giant snail and is always shuffling cards. The dealer places the used cards into the back of it and it spits out a small stack of cards for the dealer to use for that hand and then keeps shuffling the remainder of the cards

Just saying souring eagle in Michigan has good tables. As long as you just throw in some tips for the dealers even one dollar bets they don't spill a damn word. Also very friendly and talkative but keep the DAMN count.

You’re half right. He did it already. It’s a lot of stress and hassle so he transitioned to teaching because it’s easier and had the opportunity to reach a large base. Who wouldn’t want to diversify based off their skills? It’s no doubt much easier to make money off his website than counting

Yes. The easiest way is to watch the player's bet spread. If they suddenly start making much bigger bets it is a sign of a card counter. Also, if the player takes insurance in some situations and not others, that would be another sign.

I observe many times Wells playing blackjack and they have the same bet every hand.Princeton's I was watching a man bet fifty thousand every hand playing three hands at a time. I wanted to scream to him just let me play for you and you will walk home with a bundle. That is having his bankroll quest casino wouldn't allow me to play too long when I was placing $100 minimum bets with a negative count LOL

Because casinos nowadays are using countermeasures, such as the continuous shuffle machine. Plus, there are cameras with facial recognitions so they could recognize you if you are a known card counter.

Card counting (and the accompanying beefed up betting) can work to lessen the house advantage, but it is very hard to do, and 95% of BJ players cannot do it effectively. My theory is that the casinos want us to believe that it can work, but they know that the overwhelming majority of players cannot do it; if they were really threatened by card counting, the casinos would shuffle after every hand!

Gary shop you are absolutely correct I was in Mohegan sun and I count cards. I had an uncanny amount of four splits. I had a true count at + 8 which was great with maybe a deck and a half cards left. The dealer had a 6 showing. I must have had $40,000 on double downs and splits on fours across the table. Dealer post 5 + 10 21 and wipes my table. I turned blue. I've learned through the years counting cards it's just the help a true professional is lucky if he wins a couple $100 for the night.
