I dont see them as the first father son duo to play in the NBA. The kid didnt deserve to be there at all its disrespectful to basketball not an accomplishment for it.

Why does LeBron deserve that moment? Hail no! Everyone deserves that moment? Everyone's son plays. "What are we even talking about?"

Bronny didn't earn his NBA draft "stripes". He clearly belonged in college. He is clearly a 4-year player. That's the problem. Austin Rivers was a legitimate first round prospect. One of the top college basketball players. Bronny was no where close to being one of the top college basketball players.

It wasn’t Bronnys fault, it was the Lakers fault, period. Them again the Buss kids are massive Nepo babies themselves.

There isn’t much room in the NBA for a 6’2” guard who can’t shoot. It’s difficult to see him making much of an impact in the G League either. This was throwing LeBron a bone as a sort of lifetime achievement award, nothing else…

Kinda funny that LeBron is such a narcissist he is willing for his son to have a horrible joke career just to say "I was the first dad to play with his son".

If you wanted to know the difference in mentality between mj and lebron, this sums it up perfectly. Mj would never do this even for his own kids, that’s how much mj respected competition and winning.

The real problem was his daddy probably demanded his son play or else. But at this point even his daddy is getting old not the same player since he came to LA. His dad should have told him to stay in school prove your point in college get an education then if your still good enough go pro your not even close to pro yet. WAKE UP DADDY. Just because you didn’t get an education doesn’t mean your son shouldn’t.

Nepotism has been in sports since long before Bronny James. Players get called up from the minors in MLB, overstay their welcome because the GM sees them too much as a friend, and doesn't wanna hurt their feelings by sending them back down.

When Bronny suffered a cardiac arrest, Lebron did not want to wait and let his dream of a first father and son roster destroyed. Further evidence of the one time NBA player not living up to the pro stats shows he needs a second career, but his college stats may still be better than Stephen A's.

The big story that wasn’t brought up is Lebron literally told the other 29 teams not to draft Bronny so he could play on the Lakers. It’s ridiculous how Lebron embraces woke politics as they all play victims, yet he is in a position now where he can get his son a roster spot in the NBA. Maybe it’s not as bad a country as his political side always says?

The NBA sucks. Maybe a couple teams are good, but the style of play is terrible nowadays. Boring and way overpaid athletes that are experts in scoring points with the least amount of effort. Let Bronny stay in the dumbest league in sports. I loved the NBA btw, this is why i hate it now. To be fair part of my hate is that the Portland Trailblazers i used to be a fan of suck way too bad now.

Get over it Snowflakes!!! Make the most of every advantage given to you!!! Don’t get lost in the criticism of others…every decision has a negative review…🤷🏿

"Bronny needs to earn his stripes." The idea presented by Stephen A. assumes Bronny is taking a roster spot from someone more deserving. However, NBA roster decisions involve a complex mix of factors, including potential, marketability, and team needs. It’s not always a zero-sum situation where one player's gain is purely at another’s expense. The NBA is a business. Lebron playing with his son night to night sells tickets and the potential is there.
