Playing against opers can be difficult but there are many ways to punish them. 1. Find where they re playing by defaulting 2. flush them out with utility like flashes 3. if no flashes use cyphers cam or cpyhers cage to close the gap. 4. if you cant do any then shoulder peek to bait the shot.

"calm aim" helps as a tac shooter thing. This game almost purely relies on micro corrections. I honestly wish tac shooters branched out to make good guns that encourage different aim styles, and it doesnt even gotta be projectile aim. But i rest my case. Val aim is only a really tiny part in all of aiming, just focus on micro corrections unless a different skill in aiming holds your micro corrections back, where you want low tension, which is why its calm.

the way valorants designed pushes you towards that calm aim style to be efficient due to the lack of spray patterns which is sad. It does get boring playing this style
