Amazing how rough and aggressive Dexter is with his three feline kids. He definitely needs to work on his interpersonal skills with his adorable kittens. Perhaps in time, Dexter will mellow out, but I have my doubts about that. Looked like Misty was not too thrilled with her dad’s treatment of her. The other two siblings, received even harsher interactions with dad Dexter. His parenting skills could use some work! However, a treat to see how much the three siblings have grown over time. Thank you for sharing the latest adventures of your Maine Coon cats and kittens, with all of us. They are always entertaining , even grumpy Dexter!

Well Papa Dexter..I'm sorry you are not going to make the 'Father of the Year' reward, but you are trying to work on it..some say you are still young, some say papa's don't show affection(that's Mama's 'work'),.. I think you and Buster need to go out for a walk in the woods and discuss what is the role of a Papa!! Also include Luna so she can add her input too. Human Dad may have his hands full, but it would be a wonderful video!!! At 1:00, all the pent up anger of his kitty is let loose. There's only so much hostility from a father that children can take. After the 2:00 mark, Dexter is done trying to clean them up for adoption. The cost of legal help, court filings and paternity tests have just weighed too heavily on his mind and lack of a pocketbook. The latest issue of KZbin Felines Illustrated reported that Dexter is demanding a vasectomy tout de suite!

Dexter is trying to put his pheromones and scent on the kittens and to assert his dominance. He is protecting his territory, because he is very territorial. The kittens are a threat to his dominance, hence the biting and being rough with Misty who fought back. He’s like I’m not scared of you little girl, but he backed off. Brock doesn’t trust Dexter, but he is the favorite. As for poor Ash, Dexter is feeling threatened by this little guy, so Dexter acted threatening and hissed at him. Looks like Brock is the only one he’ll tolerate. To sum it all up, Dexter is not Daddy material. Buster is the Daddy of the year to these sweet Maine Coon kittens, and Mama Luna is Mother of the year, but even great moms need to take a break, and Luna deserves it. Big sister Freya was like get lost, you’re cramping my style to Misty. Poor Misty she is so sweet, good thing she has such a loving human Dad and Uncle Buster and Mama Luna and her siblings for love. I love you Maine Coon family❤😘

I don’t think he likes the kitten’s smell. If he grooms them, they will carry his scent, which can help bond them. Usually the females that become aggressive after giving birth. So this is interesting. Poor Ash, he didn’t get love from Dexter. Freya not friendly to them either. Luna… the matriarch, she’s amazing! I am so impressed by their ears. Totally perfect, great placement, the outer ear is perfectly placed and straight and No BUNNY EARS. You are really doing a great job. Staying true to the breed standards. Thank you for that. So many in Europe and beyond are breeding the American standards out of this truly American breed.
