Cool explanation with a bucket level chart, can you also explain calculations behind compounding taking a single mutual fund as an example, instead of saying just it Gross to 2X in 5 years and 5X in 20 years.

Hi Thank you for writing in.. I believe we have used a few funds as an example as we wanted to review the actual mutual Funds performance of the past to draw our conclusions from.. it would not be authentic to say 2X in 5 years without using actual data. Hope this helps

Mistake. Rate of return after retirement is 5% .but thats not the rate of return for current investment which one is going to continue for next 20 years. U need to consider two different rates of return

yes chief , while planning long term retirement, it is better that the plan is conservative than aggressive, in the western world's they use a factor of 4%, while we are bit better off to use 5 %, this is a plan and we need to build contingency, hope this helps understand why the rate was chosen so..
