In ppf u multiply interest rate with deposit amount whereas u multiply expected return with NAV why not × with deposit to find return??

We multiply by units because we buy them. Ultimately when we want to redeem the money we can use number of units to find returns in case we sell partial or full units. NAV will give us the feeling that we are dealing with mutual funds Btw great question, I'll try this in excel👍

Thank you n 1 more thing in SIP we see annualized return suppose 10% upon 100 rs deposit does that mean in 1st yr i would get 110 n in 2nd year 10% return on 110 as compounding works here m i correct

Mutual fund works based on Growth rate of NAV. Not Compounding interest. Power of compounding not applicable to mutual funds..

With little Efforts we can get wonderful results from MF like - 1. When Market is Over Valued if possible stop investments (Lumsum). 2. When Market is euphoric exit Equity MF and shift to Liquid Fund/Debt Funds (This will give extra cushion to market correction). 3. And When markets falls (by more than 2-3% in single day). Systematically shift debt/Liquid funds to equity mf.

Mutual fund mein compounding kabhi nahi hoti.ye bahot bada fraud hai q k compounding k liye shares ko har year mein sell karke phir se buy karna padega.warna basic rate mein hi interest add hota rahega which works as simple interest

PPF is simple and straight but MF is totally different. For demo you can assume NAV and show calculations. But in actual NAV is totally different. There are thousands of MF schemes in india . Though there are few MF schemes yielding 100 % return, the average return of the *entire MFs put together of all Fund Houses * operationing in India (Mutual Fund Industry Average) is less than bank interest rates.!!! Everyone is greedy and living in illusions.
