I am so happy to see a new Guardians of the Palaxy episode! I've been watching you Whitney, Tommy, and MT on New Rockstars for years now. When MT and Whitney left the channel it wasn't the same anymore. I am so grateful you guys decided to do this podcast. I lost my grandmother this past mother's day and I've just been really struggling through life since then. Watching you all really helps me just get up and through my day, I rewatch and listen all of your old Rouge Theory's, Big Questions, when I don't have anymore new videos. I just wanted to say thank you to you all for helping me get through a rough time. You three are all amazing human beings, glad to have you all back together again!

I'm so glad you three are back in my life! Echo was an obvious victim of reshoots, editing, and ADR. That being said, it worked really well until it doesn't. And when it doesn't, it's so obvious that something is missing (Bonnie, anyone?). I just wished their trick to transitioning scene to scene wasn't Echo CONSTANTLY on a motorcycle.

Reservation Dogs absolutely fucking rules! It’s seriously one of the most gorgeous shows on television - when it’s funny, you’re on the floor, when it’s emotional, you’re crying on the couch. I hope Echo is a little gateway drug for more people to find that show 🥰

I think Kingpin survived simply because Maya missed. Maybe not intentionally but subliminally, she pulled right before she shot and caused the bullet to just pierce his eye. As for why he still has an eye, it's probably a glass eye.

They spent all of Kingpin's screen time in that Hawkeye episode showing him to be completely invulnerable for some reason. He should have had pieces of him all over the room when those explosive arrows explode at his feet. I guess he's Luke Cage now.

I really liked the Echo show. It was different and I loved all about the Choctaw people. I look forward to seeing her again. Film people may not like it, but for us regulars, this show hits.

Echo worked. It worked to pique interest in Daredevil and Kingpin. This is what Marvel does. They try to create interest in a new character, then when people don't care they throw in characters that people do care about so they haven't totally wasted their money. As an incredibly expensive and arse backwards approach to doing things, it was a great success as a commercial for the Daredevil Kingpin show(s) that we will now all be eagerly awaiting.

Reservation Dogs is great, it feels like a better version of Echo bc it focuses on life on the Res, which is more interesting without the super powers than with them

There’s a discussion that the powers manifest when they are needed. It may be that under Kingpin she was mostly a bully and never took on anything particularly dangerous so never had those life and death needs for intervention. Which is tossing massive shade at Daredevil that he’s not dangerous enough to trigger it.

Hey Tommy, I totally hear what you’re saying and I get where you’re coming from as far as the MCU but at the same time I kind of have to throw this out at you that the other channels more specifically I believe it was FX that had Legion and then there was another property and I can’t remember what it was called, but it basically was a brother and sister, who were essentially the daughters of Either Satan or a demon but either way those were like marvel based characters, but they were in their own little as everyone likes to say little universe pocket and I like that and I kind of felt that with echo where she doesn’t necessary fit in the timeline of the MCU but she’s part of this ongoing reality of the MCU. I don’t know if it makes sense what I’m saying I hope it kind of sort of does, love you guys🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

OK now here is my take on echo. I liked the story. I would’ve been happier with eight episodes. And it was self-contained and did not necessarily affect any continuity, one way or the other. With that in mind, I have a hill that I will die on, when it comes to a lot of shows that I like, but more specifically marvel series that I wish that they kept it to eight episodes, no more no less because eight episodes seems to be a sweet spot for storytelling. Same thing happens with Star Wars with most of the Star Wars content as well, I don’t know if you guys have a specific opinion on it but through all these years of watching WRs content and Marvel content and other shows like invincible and so on so forth on prime video episodes, seems to be the sweet spot. OK love you guys.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
