I have Ibs and just poop after every meal , it all started at the start of lockdown when i was having an unhealthy diet of pancakes every day for breakfast. I did also little exercise. i used to burn 2000 calories a day from doing indoor cycling for 1 hour . But since lockdown longed on i have not been doing exercise. I have to admit when i did exercise my ibs was not as bad , and i’m promising myself i’m going to start exercising every day like i used to

Definitely helps me. More than anything. Started cycling and in few days of doing 70km in 3 days bloating down and no tummy pain even though I ate foods high in fodmaps for my daughters bday. Wow. Am impressed. Better than any meds.

Yes!!! I'm in my 60's and use Fitbit, FitnessBlender workouts at home, go to gym occasionally for weights, walk around the house while on the phone. Helps relieve anxiety (from IBS or life) and makes me feel more positive and confident. Sometimes I get off-track, but just start back and feel so much better.

On ibs flare up days, sometimes i try exercising (moderate) when im not having cramping episode. The exercise itself doesn't aggravate but like two hours later, it starts cramping bad not long after my meal. Cant help suspecting if my physical exercise made my gut more hyper thus setting stage for those cramping less than 2hrs later. No doubt in longer term exercise helps with normalizing gut motility, but i seem to getting these 'rebound cramps' not long after exercising. My ibs could be considered under severe category. Mine is ibs-c. So does seem exercising could aggravate your cramps in period shortly after exercising

My doctor believe I might have ibs,and I never had this issues before until its started1 year ago!And I tell u this is all about our mental health!because I stress a lot,but the thing is that exercises in matter of facts works for me!I can go hard without any stomach pain,but mostly early in the morning is when the issues comes!and this is with many people who have ibs!this I believe is because how we stress on our job and how we care to much how people sees us in society!So the main problems is not food but our mental health!Cuz u see obesity people eating bunch of unhealthy food but yet they do not struggles with this issues,so I think its because we get to stressed and have anxieties because we all want to be accepted by everyone,but sadly this we will never be!cuz it's will always be people who will not like u,no matter how good u are to them.So the best thing is let it go and don't let life stress u!and don't take life to seriously,cuz ibs in some people comes because of mental stress,little activities in their daily life and eating a lot of junknfood at the same time.This no doubt confuse the brain and stomach

I had IBS diseases for nearly 11 years. I have gone through various doctors and medications. Nothing worked. Then I browsed on youtube and got an idea regarding exercise to reduce bloating. Now I do jogging 5-10 minutes after every meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Alhamdulillah, my pain decreases substantially.

i exercise everyday but what i am having trouble with is the energy levels, i have trouble eating almost anything so "healthy eating" does not work for me, i was active before i got ill but now i lose weight 2 fast

I feel you.. I train for about 3y now and before a few months I've been diagnosed with IBS-C.. I cannot eat raw foods, I usually don't eat animal products, j cannot eat beans, lentils etc. Basically I cannot eat The most important foods and I struggle a lot.. Exercise doesn't help me a lot..

Best way to get rid of ibs is exercises,don't stress,stay positive,drink tea like ginger,limon,fennel,little bit honning. Eat smaller portions regularly. Eat food like fish,bone broth,chicken soup,eat eggs with little bit of broccoli,eat spinach,eat blueberries.Try to stay away from cow milk Most importantly and cheese,beans,fried food.

I have Ibs and I'm only 18 I'm tell right now I had it since I was 9 and it was tuff it still is however, it gotten better through working out. It helps me because it makes me feel a little bit better for example it feels terrible every time but when I join the band it felt really good because it doesn't bother me when I am active so that's one was the reason why I love working out and I plan on getting fit, eating right and lowering the pain level so it want be as bad. The pain was a 10 before and now it is more like a 5 👍🏿

I have IBS-D, my experience is that yoga is ok for me but running, jogging, push-ups are always worsen my ibs symtoms. I don't know about cycling though.

I have ibs c and d , I found that exercise , walking , running etc , makes me flare up the worst . Might be just me though .

@@thegrimmlady2647 I have recently started rock climbing, and use protein shakes/pre-workout before I workout, and for some reason, I have had a significantly noticeable decline in flare-ups. Now this could also be because I have found a man to distract myself from the monotony of life with, and therefore have been relatively stress free. I'm hoping that my next "stress-fest" does not trigger another flare-up. I recommend trying exercises that work your body as a whole/workouts that don't target very specific muscles (i.e. running, rock climbing, swimming, or honestly any cardio)

@@kamerontucker8802 my ibs started from my pstd so it's both physical and psychological. I walk to work daily 1 hour. Had to switch to night shift because I flare up less if I'm alone when I walk to work and alone at work . I support people with mental health issues and my job is demanding , so I don't lack exercise . I guess if I work out at home I'm alright as long as it's more like weight lifting or general fitness. Gimme a treadmill and my gut spasms kill me.

Used to do core and intense exercises. Ended up worh post gallbladder removal concern bile reflux ibs c related which can lead to chronic gastritis if I take my gains too far. That includes core. Went to er for this reason a dozen times in two years. If I don't get to go, go, go, then what about a Balance in stomach acid or contents? This thing I've got an idea may be in the imbalanced faze. If I overdo amd don't eat right away for instance, the gas and high movement or activity is....iffy. what can you say about this? It is more so post ibs m. I think that as long as the doet is through our day in small portions, I can suffice but if not? I turn into a bloated whale... Then end up in flare mode days later. So, question; can I even do any strength or intense exercise anymore? I have been doing this since I was in my early mid twenties amd going low impact is...enough to make me croak. So, what can you recommend if a person is going to have to put away the backwards running habit or planks or sit ups - i mean without a machine. On the floor. And up to 50.

Those had to be ibs People who runs to the bathroom several times a day. My ibs only makes me constipated nothing more. Guess what makes it worse? Exercise. Every single time. If I exercise ONE day I can't do number two for at least 2 to 3 days. So..
