Great list John! We definitely didn’t get the same quantity of Star Wars pops as 2023 but the quality was there! I wish there were more characters we don’t already have 4-10 of already.

I was at San Diego Comic Con and got the Diamond Thrown, I personally really like the Diamond Line of Star Wars Pops, I also got Diamond Grogu from Star Wars Celebration 2022. Being a big fan of Thrawn helps though.

@@Stormtrooper527 that’s awesome! My wife Joana loved the diamond pops too. I’m just not a fan of the Star Wars ones and think they could do much better with big con releases. Clearly I’m in the minority, as both the Diamond Thrawn and Diamond Grogu have held pretty good value. Thank you for watching though 🙌🏻

Overall a 7/10 year for Star Wars pops. Skeleton Cree is pretty awesome I’m enjoying seeing a show with no Jedi just exploring a new side of the galaxy.

Great video John. I enjoyed your take on this years Star Wars drops. I would have to agree with alot of your choices and i definitely think the newer rebel line Ezra pops are awesome! I really need more specific trooper pops and ventress this coming year! My rating is a 6.

Great recap. I definitely feel Funko can do much better on the molds and character choices for Star Wars, like how'd we not get any more Bad Batch? Overall the NFT molds weren't bad, just could have done better on character choice and size, all 6" was not a great idea. I am pumped to get my Luke NFT grail though. I also agree that Maul was one of the best this year. Hopefully 2025 is better for Funko Star Wars and wishing they release a few characters in Soda form, like maybe a cooler for The Clone Wars. It being animated, the characters I feel would translate very well. Could be Anakin, Ahsoka, Obiwan, Rex, Cody and maybe Ventress or Yoda.

Overall I think they did well. I love the Rebels and Gaming Greats lines and have them all. I just wish they would give us new characters from Rebels rather than more of Ezra. Like Agent Kallus, Hondo, The Bendu (10-inch), Governor Azadi...

I'm not a Star Wars collector, and even I noticed that this year was pretty weak for that franchise. I think the Battle Droid pop was a great release, I'm glad it made your list. I agree with your list and your takes on the figures. The con Pops were pretty weak and lazy IMO and I hope the Star Wars collectors get a lot more consideration in 2025. I love all the communities, that’s the best part. I picked up the Old Republic characters, that was a pleasant surprise and Funko did a really great job on them. Great Vid! I love your list and agree with it. My one criticism is, as a “Die Hard Star Wars fan”, I would have expected for you to have watched The Acolyte. To merely not watch it because of reviews, and for you then to disparage it, does not make sense if you are in fact a “Die Hard Star Wars Fan”. I am a Star Wars fan and I liked a great many elements that were brought out by The Acolyte series in Season 1. I am disappointed that there will not be a Season 2 of the show. Instead of just reading or listening to reviews you should give in to your Star Wars fan and watch it for yourself. Then you can fairly judge the series. With regard to Skeleton Crew it’s a great version if Star Wars meets The Goonies and is well done. Plus it gives us a perspective in the Star Wars universe from the average citizen’s point of view, while all of these events are happening around them. It brings to light the stories of The Old Republic. Worlds hidden by the empire. Watch it from that perspective and then you might understand it better. Great Monday Motivation! Especially for you as a big seller on WhatNot it is nice to remember and reward all the delivery & Postal Workers that handle all of your packages.

I’ll watch the Acolyte at some point. We were pretty busy this year as you know so I’m behind on many shows and movies. Unfortunately we are very busy with my full time job and running the channel and I can’t watch every show as soon as it comes out, even though I would love to. In regards to Skeleton Crew, I appreciate the perspective however I just think overall we’re going in the wrong direction with Star Wars and I want to things similar to that of the prequels/clone wars/rebels/Mando Season 1 era. The fact that funko seems allergic to episode 2 funkos is crazy when they dropped a new jango and young boba I hit the stores when they released, serious we could get new molds for plo koon, kit fisto etc since they were in the arena

Lots of characters could use updates for sure, especially from the prequels. Not sure why Funko doesn’t like money when it comes to Star Wars 🤷🏻
