Does God Ever Send People Back from Heaven?

There are several examples of people in the Bible who raised back to life from the dead. Does this prove that near-death experiences are actually Biblical? Can people go to heaven and then be sent back? If so, why would God do this?

there is no scriptural examples of going to hell, and when Paul was caught up to the third heaven he couldn't speak of the things he saw, aad people (particulaly on sid roth's show), today have so many differing stories, I think they are lying, so many people claim to have gone to heaven and hell, you would think there was an elevator

learn the difference between resurrection and resuscitation. only Christ has been resurrected. you are not truly dead until your spirit leaves.

I truly believe people have dyed and went somewhere and spoke to God. I had a very strange thing happen to me and have no clue what it really was. People can see things that are going on when they die and explain any of this.

God is out of time and space, where we are confined to it. He could have that boy with Him for years, then send him back to earth.

The word that is translated soul in Hebrew 'Roah' really means wind or breath. The real Hebrew word for soul 'nephesh' is also translated as being. And in Genesis 2.7 = 'nephesh hayyah' living soul. And in Ezekiel 18.20 = the soul that sins dies. (the soul dies). There is a lot the Bible has to say about death. If we dig and read by ourselves along with the holy spirit, we will understand the depth of the truth of God's word.

A soul dies after 1000yrs so God gives that soul many chances to come back on earth to change and be saved within a period of 1000yrs if it fails to change it perishes or it dies. God doesn't rejoice in a soul that dies in sin rather gives it more time. He just provides new bodies but same soul. 1000yrs is one day before God and he made a man in one day and to live for one day.

If someone came back to life, the only explanation possible is that the person went to either Heaven or Hell (depending on whether or not he or she was saved). Any other conclusion implies the false doctrine of Soul Sleep. It's possible that God might remove a person's memories of the afterlife once they are brought back, but to say they didn't go to one is false doctrine IMO.

These would seem to be the only options, however we don't know how quickly the soul transports to heaven or hell. Remember that it appears that God sends angels to take the soul to its destination, so if someone dies for a few seconds, would God send angels to take them to heaven for a minute or would He let their soul stay existent in that dead body, knowing that it shortly be revived?

Keep in mind that Heaven was not promised to you. The Promise was that he would return with the Kingdom. Christ is our King and the Kingdom is Gods Wedding gift to Christ. So, is Heaven BIBLICAL. The catholic say that when you die you go to Heaven. But it doesn't ssy that. It isvwhst they say to comfort those that are a live. They missed your Resurrection. Which is all threw out the old and new testaments. Anyhow. God bless you all.

The Old Testament actually speaks of 3 people being raised from the dead, not 2. You missed the one where Elijah raised the son of the widow of Zarephath in 1 Kings 17.

I prefer to have the Bible explained by the Holy Spirit, as opposed to some KZbin guy who decides he's an authority on all these topics and is most likely wrong more often than right.. I may sound harsh but I'm becoming annoyed with so many KZbin experts claiming to have more wisdom than the next Christian and claiming some sort of authority that they don't actually have.. you can give your opinion on all of these topics based on your understanding of them, but why should anyone consider your opinions to have any value??

The Holy Spirit is our guide in all things. Whether this KZbinr went to a seminary matters not, the question is whether the content comports with the Word. Just because the medium of delivery is not a man behind a podium means nothing (I’m sure you would agree with that btw, don’t take that the wrong way.) The Holy Spirit can and will guide us away from false teachings, but that does NOT mean THIS KZbinr is a false teacher. I am brand new to this channel so I don’t know, but I trust in the Holy Spirit and have clad myself in the armor of God. Remember, who do you think are pastors in the underground church in China or Iran? Trust me when I tell you that the VAST majority of them have never set foot in seminary, and maybe some have had a missionary teach them, but it is only the WORD and the Holy Spirit that guides them. If this channel turns out to be a false teacher, then I will be the first to join you.
