i'm surprised you've never heard the term progressive Christian basically you are one....like you and Liss are lgbtq friendly and try not to shame and pass judgement and you openly interact with the world. I also like the term "Follower of Christ" bc some folks just see wisdom in following Christ"s teachings but don't align with the institution of Christian church

The True Body of Christ Restored alright now ur judging people because of their decisions, im sure if they were open to it and trying to become Christian then he couldve made an argument to sway them but where they are right now if he kept pushing Christianity on to them he woulve just annoyed them and then a friendship would be lost
@ChicagoJosh955 жыл бұрын
The True Body of Christ Restored it’s not our job to make or tell someone they are going to hell. The one trying to force Christ on people could be the one going to hell. My point is. We were commissioned to love first and not to tell people “become a Christian or you’re going to hell” simply isn’t our place to be the judge
@ChicagoJosh955 жыл бұрын
The True Body of Christ Restored so you think god wants you to play the judge and make people feel guilty in order to come to God lol You need to meditate the word a little more bud
@ChicagoJosh955 жыл бұрын
You kill your witness when you judge people and not live a life of example of what a Christian is suppose to be like. It’s actually counter-productive to the goal of bringing people to God
@ChicagoJosh955 жыл бұрын

As a doctor, Tim is actually right on the round head C-section delivery. Babies skulls are not fully formed at the time of delivery, they are developed to overlap and make their heads temporarily smaller as they pass through the birth canal. C-section babies don't get the same pressure exerted on their skull so are therefore not as mishapen as those with vaginal births.
@AshTu19995 жыл бұрын

But isn't it temporary? Their heads round after a month or 2.
@BboyJJRuda5 жыл бұрын
MeShannan yea its temporary but some of the shape remains after the baby’s molding going thru the vaginal canal. C section babies dont get any molding whatsoever so their heads are extra round

I found out about Kev not too long ago, and I really enjoy his contents. This was a great video and topic with a great guest. "Once you have kids, you're a parent FOREVER", put that on a shirt, because some people just don't know or understand. Children are a lifetime investment (not necessarily financially, but mentally and emotionally). As for a progressive Christian, I agree with what Kev said; it's basically doing our best and loving each other as opposed to blaming, hating and "shoving" the Bible in people's throat. Lead by example through your actions, and that will also draw people to Christ.

My first csection I was OUT....I was throwing up during the surgery. I was asking the anesthesiologist a million questions on how he got here. Is he married? How many kids does he have? 😂🤣 He was in his early 60’s. 2nd section, I was coo. My doctors were talking bout Halloween on what they’re gonna do this year. I turned to my husband and I said “were staying in. I don’t feel like walking around.” He was like woman nobody is thinking about Halloween besides you and the two who cut you open. 😂🤣 Love this podcast Tim. Kev is hilarious. You should invite Doboy.

Lmao! Omg! I say that all the time. Child birth is beautiful in theory, but disgusting in reality. It's so nasty! Plus, being pregnant is only exciting for, like, two or three weeks. Maybe a month, especially when you feel it move for the first time, get an ultrasound or hear a heartbeat. Other than that, it sucks. I'm a little blaxican and it's hard on my body to carry babies to term anyway. While pregnant each time, I called my babies beautiful little parasites. Pregnancy is a parasitic relationship. Lol! I had four emergency c-sections, like, doctors running into the room, alarms going off, being so quickly epidural'ed that when they started cutting I felt everything, I had three placental abruptions back to back at only 30 weeks, was paralyzed after my last c-section because a disc in my back slipped and fell on my sciatic nerve, during the first c-section it was discovered that I had an issue that causes my body not to be able to dilate. However, they didn't figure that out until after 42 hours of hard labor and my daughter's heart stopping, which resulted in my first emergency c-section, I was 16 when that happened. That was traumatizing. It took me very close to ten years before I would let anyone near my body again. I do not judge women who don't want to have kids. I advise against it regularly. I love babies, but the process to getting babies is a beast. Lmao!

@@Timothy Thanks. Lmao! Children are beautiful. Pregnancy and child birth are on another level. They're both like living in one big episode of Fear Factor or Naked and Afraid. I have closed up shop on that front even though I'm still relatively young. Being in my 30s, but looking like I'm in my 20s, and having a 21yr older daughter is enough of a trip for me these days. Lol! 😜

Took my parents a while to come to terms with me not wanting kids, whatsoever. I always thought i was going to be a mother someday and I didn't have a choice. I didn't realize i could choose when i was 18! My parents are traditional, and for the most part can't share the feeling of "not wanting kids". I've had quite a few bingos already; what if it were yours? You haven't met the right person, you won't find love, you won't find a partner, it's just a phase among the young people, etc. It's always a valid choice, and no one should pressure or shame anyone who choose either option, to have or not to have. Society is slowly opening up to the thought of not breeding and procreating.
